Naruto stuffed the last few scrolls and books in his bag, glancing back at the note in his hands.

'Exit is in the spare bedroom next to the toilet.'

Ugh.

He bent over and knelt down, leaning against a tree.

He wanted to puke.

Groaning, he tilted his head up, still holding his stomach.

What the fuck was that just now?

Flashback

Naruto looked around as he entered the bedroom.

So much dust.

'Hope there's no chakra sensing seals here to scare the shit outta-'

He paused as a few words on the floor started glowing.

'-me.'

In a flash, he disappeared.

Flashback end

He coughed and knelt down on the grass, puking his guts out.

He wiped his mouth as he finished, glancing at the path next to him.

'Looks like I found my way out.'

"Just you watch, otou-san. I'll become the best Hokage. I'll fulfill both mine and Kiba's dream. I'll be the strongest shinobi to ever have lived."

"Hokage-sama!" A chunin panted as he entered the Hokage's office. "We....couldn't find anyone, but there were traces of someone in Naruto Uzumaki's room."

'Naruto...' Tsunade's eyes widened slightly. ".....Send chunins to guard the walls and the entrances."

"Hai, Hokage-sama! Should we track the infiltrator?" 

"No, leave him be," Tsunade said.

"Hai!"

The door closed as the chunin exited the room.

She smiled slightly. 'You deserve this freedom...Naruto. Stay safe.'

"Naruto....was killed?"

"Hm, it seems so," Kabuto nodded. "Anyways, head to the training room now. Orochimaru-sama will be waiting."

"Give me a few minutes to prepare," Sasuke said, facing his bed.

"As you wish," the door closed.

Sasuke clenched his fists.

'Damn it, Naruto.......I didn't want to kill you....can't you even stay alive by yourself? You stupid idiot........'

He knelt down, leaning against his bed as tears stained his eyes. 

'I told you....stop running after me.....and now you're killed.....' He pulled on his hair with gritted teeth.

'You were my best friend, damn it....'

Dark, it was so dark, everything was black.

Slowly tearing apart.

"Can we go get some ramen?"

"Sure."

He turned back.

So dark.

He turned to the front, continue walking down the seemingly endless path.

So red.

So beautiful.

So fascinating.

Shudders ran down his spine.

With every step, he seemed to sink deeper and deeper.

The air, colder and colder.

He kept sinking in blood, untill he could no longer move.

So cold, that his whole body was frozen.

A hand reached out to him.

He pulled onto that hand.

So warm, that familiar feeling. 

Whose hand was this?

"Kakashi...sensei."

More hands reaching out to him. 

"Sakura......Sasuke...Choji, Shikamaru....Ino....Shino....Hinata....."

His eyes widened.

"Kiba."

The temparature rose.

Into ashes they slowly faded away.

Drops of water dripped onto him.

Were those his tears?

Drowning...

He slowly sinked deeper, and deeper.

Red eyes paired with a smirk,

So beautiful.

He wanted to look closer.

He stepped forward.

So fascinating.

He grinned.

Can they be his?

He laughed.

The moon shone a brilliant red.
