"Anita that was amazing,"

"Thanks, it was so boring though," only she could finish an amazing performance and call it boring.

She was quickly ushered away by Mrs Bright as there were many college music offers calling her name.

Looking at the many people surrounding the music part of the evening I felt moths flying around in my stomach, wanting to get away and calm my nerves I collected a tray and began offering champagne to people in the art exhibition.

"Oh dear let me take one of those," turning around a freshly manicured hand-collected a glass and quickly finished it before replacing it with another, making a small smile grace my lips.

She winked at me before saying, "Being tipsy always makes these events more bearable," she took a sip of the champagne and we then fell into a light-hearted conversation.

"Are any of these paintings yours?"

"No, I'm a music student that can't draw to save her life,"

She let out a small laugh, "I'm looking for a piece to send back home to my grandmother in Singapore, she loves art,"

"Well I have a feeling she'll love this piece," I spoke before leading her to the painting on the other side of the room.

She stayed quiet for a moment letting her eyes dance around the painting before looking back at me, "I love it,"

"Yeah, the artist is really talented let me go get her for you,"

I quickly scurried across taking a tray of appetisers from a boy and handing them to Cora.

"Go offer that lady over there one of these,"

"Iris what are you-"

"Food, lady, painting, go," I said whilst pushing her slightly.

She clumsily made her way over before falling into a light conversation with the woman.

"Iris, it's time for your duet come on we're already behind schedule,"

Leavening the champagne on a tray table, I made my way over to the back pushing away the thought of throwing up or ditching the event.

I probably shouldn't have looked from behind the curtain, the art auctions had slowly come to an end leaving more people to watch the music performances. Some sat at the tables provided or stood in small groups, whilst others went a swayed to the songs played.

As my eyes ran over the room I saw a little boy in the room pulling at his bow tie and before I could stop them my feet made my way over to him.

"Nario, what are you doing here?"

"We came to watch you play," he smiled up at me.

"We?"

As I looked up I saw Donatello talking to the headteacher, Lorenzo and Valentino were surrounded by a collection of girls. Valerius seemed to be irritating Anita whilst Nazaire and Emilio seemed to be looking for someone.
