Two

It's been 1 week since Mrs Brighton paired me and Everest in a group and nothing happened after that
neither of us two talked to one another
And I know he has no intention in changing that - he probably expects me to do all the work
So today I decided to talk to him about our project at school - that's gonna be hella awkward

Whenever I leave the mental health facility I make sure that nobody sees me coming out of it - it's not that I'm a ashamed or anything but people talk
And when they talk it's always some mixed up bullshit
I have a drivers license but no car
My parents got my 2 year older sister and will definitely buy my 15 year old brother a car when he's old enough
But me? hmm apparently I don't need a car 'til college
Thanks mom and dad
So instead of a car I have a bike
Not every senior can afford a car, okay?!

It was about lunch time now and I couldn't find a possibility to go and talk to Everest but that's about to change
I know he comes from this direction to enter our cafeteria so I waited around the corner
And when I heard him and his boys approaching the hallway
I came out for them it probably looked like outta nowhere - did I wanted to scare them?
Maybe
"We need to talk" I said harshly yet emotionless
He looked quite surprised because of my sudden appearance
Jackpot
"Aiight Guys see you inside" he said unbothered while doing the weird handshake thing guys always do
"Uhm about what exactly?" He asked while crossing his arms over his broad chest
"Our project."dumbass I responded while handing him a list I created "There's everything written down you need to do. I have my own list"

Silence

He slowly took the paper making sure not to touch my hand
"So you don't want us to meet and do this Uhm together?" Everest asked slightly nervous
"No I don't. Just finish this in time" I said monotonously
"C'mon Vee, it's gonna be much better if we do the work together.
You now what come to my place this Friday"
I just stood there
First of all who does he think he is calling me by my nickname?!
Is he deaf? Has he trouble listening to someone? I thought to myself
"I need your number" he said while taking his phone out of his pocket
That's when students standing or passing near is decided to look twice my direction
I took his phone and typed my number in it
And the other way around

"Great, I'll text you the infos later" he yelled smiling
I rolled my eyes

Oh god this is going to be a disaster

At lunch me and my friends sit always together

Kate
- dresses similar to me
-very outgoing and extroverted
- kinda loud

Ian
- quiet
- really smart
- rude

And me

Anyways Ian only sits with us because his other friends don't have lunch at the same time but he never admits it but I know that boy enjoys Kate's and my company.

"So you have Everest's phone number now?" Kate asked while chewing on her homemade sandwiches
"Mind finishing chewing that before you open your mouth? That's disgusting" Ian said shuddering slightly while looking a Kate who's stuffing her mouth with cheese, ham and salad sandwich
She opened her mouth to show us her halfly chewed food in her mouth "ahh" she said
"Ew! Oh god I think I'm going to throw up" Ian said holding his stomach

"Who told you that I got Everest's number?" I asked unbothered while opening my own made potato salad - I mean it's literally been 5 minutes since he gave it to me
See: they talk
"That's not important. Did you got it?!" Kate said this time louder causing people to turn their heads
"Yea" I answered he after i took a sip of my juice

Kate when on rambling about how hot and amazing Everest is and so on meanwhile Ian and I just talked about random stuff

School is a bitch
I went straight to my therapy session when I arrived from school and as soon I was done with that I had to do my homework
It was about 8-9 pm when I finished my homework
After that I always chill in my room or at the lounge they have here
But after I changed into more comfy clothes to chill I got a message

It wasn't Kate or Ian nor Mom and Dad
My siblings don't text me
So who's that?

This guy is driving me nuts!

3 days and 2 nights 'til Friday

So guys this my 2nd chapter so far and I hoped u liked don't be afraid to give Tipps or wishes and so on
