Everyone cheers and lifts their drinks.
They are not living in a good place. Actually it's poorer then poor. Sharing a house is not uncommon but sharing a house with eighteen other people is definitely not normal. But what are they supposed to do. No money and if they would try to get some by working or helping out they would end up in the orphanage. The last one was bad enough. Not again.
So instead of sitting somewhere on the street they joined the revolution. As long as the revolution sees them as useful they would have a roof over their head and food in their hands.
Not good one. But it is something.

A big hand lands on Wilbur's back. It hurts. But he smiles through the pain.
Like the other he raises his drink. Next to him Tommy does the same.
All together they raise their drinks for him.
