"Is there anything i can do to make up for today?"
"Todoroki, there's no need for anything" i chuckle slightly. He's so cute.
"Anything, just so i don't feel guilty for the rest of my life" he mumbles.

"Well... i do need to study..."
"I'll study with you". He closes the door of the dorms behind us.
"Okayyyy don't regret it" i tease.

*****

I don't get it. How can ANYONE do maths??
How the fuck does A = 25.

"But it's a letter" i groan, throwing myself backwards on the sofa.
"It just is what it is"
I can practically hear his smile through his words.
"Don't look at me like that" i say even though i can't see his face, but i have an idea of the face he's making.
"like what?"
I lift my head up, looking across to Shoto who's holding a practice maths test paper in his hand, smirking.
"Exactly like that." I roll my eyes playfully as i sit up "like i'm being stupid."
I feel warm so i take off my jumper leaving me so i'm sat in a black spaghetti strap tank top.

I notice his eyes flicker down to my chest for a second before finding my eyes again.

Yeah i saw that, you ain't slick.

I narrow my eyes at him, knowing it'll get him flustered. He clears his throat, pink cheeked, before returning to explaining the question.

I spin around to check the time, 10:50. I bet everyone's sound asleep right now.
"Hey" Shoto holds me by the jaw and turns my head back to face him.

Butterflies.
No.
Stampeding elephants.

"Are you losing focus? we can stop here if you like"

Don't stop.

"i- uh- sort of?" I can't really get my words out when he's looking at me like that.
"so you want to stop?"
"yes and no" I blurt out in a tone that came off very very wrong but it was exactly what i was thinking so technically very very right. I regret it, cringing at my attempt of flirting.
Before i have a chance to say something to recover this failure, Shoto's lips are against mine, his hand still holding my jaw.

Mission failed successfully?

I gasp when he pulls away, probably out of shock. He lets go of my chin.
"Woah"
"Sorry, I should've ask-" he's cut off.
"Shut up" i mumble as i lean into him again, kissing him back.
He's still at first, probably not expecting how forward I was but he soon relaxes against me.

He hums against my lips and pulls me onto his lap, my legs wrapping around him. I drape my arms over his shoulders while his cling around my waist. I love his warmth and his gentle movements. The kisses he gives me are so soft yet so intense.

We stop and catch our breaths. Could this moment get more perfect?

Way better than maths if you ask me.

We wrap up the study session, heading up to bed. I can literally hear my heartbeat in my ears he makes me so flustered.

"Goodnight" I mouth, waving at him from across the hall.
"Goodnight." he smiles delicately, lifting his hand up slightly but barely waving it.
