Poem 7 {You Said Forever}

Oh I'm sitting in this darkened room,

Looking back on the days where I could breathe

My heart was roaring and my smile wide,

But oh it's vanished,

Oh yea it's vanished

Remember the day we sat til dawn,

Oh why did it end?

Now I don't even see the sunshine,

It's full of clouds of sorrow

'All I wanna do is to be next to you'

You said to me one perfect day

Now you can't even meet my eyes

Am I that disgusting?

The day in the sun you handed me a daisy,

And you said it was nearly as beautiful as me,

Well its dead, is that close to where I am?

Cause I feel lost,

It's never ending and it's full of pain

My escape is to sit and recall

Do you remember.......?

Do you remember..........?

Or am I the only one to remember?

You said forever,

Is forever defined as enough to ruin a life?

Oh cause I'm ruined and shattered

I can't pick up the pieces

I'm breakin'

The smiles breakin'...

Oh remember at least the heart you broke,

The lies you told,

The promises you destroyed,

The life you destroyed...
