Corpse sighed in boredom as his eyes traveled around the room looking for something to do. After Sykkuno had left for his parents he had shut the door and made sure it was tightly locked, nothing new though.

The only thing in that room with him was bimbus, but the white fully ball was doing its own thing. "Ughh..." suddenly it was somewhat of a miracle his phone rang. Corpse immediately grabbed it and answered not paying attention to the callers ID.

📞Good afternoon am I speaking to Zachary Rogers?📞

He quickly realized that voice, knowing that this person never used his name just his last. "Doctor Grant?" Still wasn't sure if it was her of course. The person on the other line sighed softly

📞Yes who else? Mister Rogers. It's been 2 years since your last check ups, where have you been?📞

Corpse sunk. "I.. I mean, I'm doing fine.. It's not acting up so often like last time. Coughing yes, bu-"

📞Oh and you think that's a good reason to have been skipping out on your check ups for 2 years now? oh my Lord, I would have contacted you sooner but the last time you came here you gave us your father's number📞

Corpse sunk even more when the doctor mentioned his father. The other line continued nonetheless;

📞I called him, he said that your no longer his responsibility?! What the hell happened?
After he basically yelled in my ear he hung up saying he doesn't know your number personally📞

Finally after a minute of the doctor's rambling Corpse spoke. "Dr Grant, believe me he's not a part of this anymore. And even if I continue my treatments,"

"I wouldn't be able to pay it off." he continued on telling the doctor on the other line why he stopped coming and that he's doing just fine.

📞I will not allow this, Zachary I want you in my office by 3 this afternoon. I will give you a check free of charge!📞

The male took the phone away from his ear questioning whatever the fuck that was. He sighed and threw it over somewhere frightening bimbus in the process.

"Ah, sorry B." He chuckled apologizing to the white ball. Getting up off his bed he went thought about what just happened.

"I guess I should just go, to prove her I'm okay and well.." A soft cough came after the sentence, he rolled his eyes. "This world is truly against me huh.."

Throwing on his hoodie and mask, Corpse made sure bimbus had something to eat not knowing what time Dr Grant will keep him for.

Corpse left his apartment. Taking a deep breath of fresh air he hadn't been out in sometime especially without Sykkuno.
