You and Amina arrived at the party at about nine. It was an opening for a high-end lounge called Carter's targeted towards musicians. You held your head high with honor as you walked the mini carpet for the paparazzi.
❤️You entered the club through a massive red door. Music blared as people danced and servers served. You stood next to the door, unsure where to go.
"Let's go to the bar," Amina suggested.
"Ok." The two of you made your way upstairs to the less crowded bar reserved for higher-end guests. The ceiling was freckled with small red lights that shined into several-cylinder fishtanks. The floor cushioned your heels with its plush carpet. People in dresses and suits sat at tables and around the tanks.
"Wow, this came out really nice." You said to Amina as you approached the bar.
"Ya very sensual." She giggled. The two of you sat at the bar, continuing to taking in your surroundings. Your eyes landed in a set of dramatic curtains in the back corner of the room.
'Hmm, I wonder what's back there?' You thought. You found it hard to keep calm engulfed in a pool of A-list celebrities, but that was your life. You just had to take a deep breath and stay cool. Amina ordered drinks for you and a few other managers she knew.
