"Can." He told her. "My name it's Can." He said as he sat down.

"Layla." She said reaching out her hand. "It's finally good to meet you."

He took her hand shaking it. "I can't believe it you don't..." He started, looking at Layla then at Sanems picture

"Don't worry about it, we get it all the time, but yes we are sisters." She told him.

"Sanem...?" He asked looking around.

"She's out for the day. Which is a good thing I think. Because I'm not to sure she be too pleased to see you." She said. Her eyes still a little hazy as she blinked shaking her head a little.

"Are you sure you're ok mam?" He asked.

Shaking her head she smiled. "Layla." She said.

"I'm sorry, it's a force of habbit." He told her.

"I'm fine, I had just dozed off when the bell rang." She said rubbing her forehead.

"Would you like me to get you something, a glass of water?" He asked.

"Please if you don't mind." Layla said."The kitchen's just through there." She pointed.

As she watched him walk away,
She couldn't believe how she could feel so comfortable around someone she'd just met. Sanem hadn't really said much about him. God she'd even left his description to a minimal.

"He's quite tall, he has a beard, he has longish hair, and brown eyes."

She forgot to mention how handsome and good-looking he was. Almost like one of the actors in the drama's.

'I'm a good judge of character' Layla thought. Sliently thanking God that she had been given this opportunity. Sanem was sure to be back late and from what Emre had said about the emergency, well he wasn't coming home anytime soon. It gave her a good chance to get to know him as much as she could in the time. Firstly she had to find out why he was here. Was it to discuss the divorce or could it be her wishful thinking that he'd come to sort things out.

"So I guess your thinking what I'm doing here?" He asked, handing her the glass.

"Hmm...you could say that." She replied taking a sip of water.

"I don't know how much Sanem has told you." He said.

Not wanting to cause any conflict. So he'd watch what he said. He figured Like himself she hadn't told her family everything.

"Forget about what Sanem has or hasn't said." Layla told him flatly, not wanting to beat around the bush. "Tell me why you're here and why it's taken you almost four years?" She asked him.

"I want to see Sanem, to talk to her. It's concerns only the two of us." He told her. He didn't want to be rude, however he didn't wasnt anything to slip from his mouth.

"What concerns my sister is my concern. Now I'm asking again why are you here?" She asked.

"Look I'm sorry I disturbed you. I'll wait outside untill Sanem comes back." He told her standing up.

'Oh no' Layla thought, if he leaves. That's it my chance will be lost. The reason he is here must be about the divorce.

"I'll just let myself out." He said as he headed towards the door.

"Look my sister's already under a lot of stress. I don't want you adding to it. Now if it's about the divorce, you have no need to worry. You can leave, you don't need to see her. Sanem's going to find a new lawer by the end of the week." She informed him.
