(Waima POV)

'Hi, I'm not available right now but if you leave a short message after the beep, I'll be sure to get back to you'

I groan, throwing my phone on the bed with a huff "Tala still not answering?" Tui asks from my bedroom door. After the attack, I ended up in one of the guest rooms anyway. The house is back to normal except my room, it needs new carpet laid due to all the blood. Tui is in the other guest room so Grandma Eddy is in hers

"No! None of them are" I sulk "It's been 6 days and nothing. They're not at school, I've tried seeing them at their homes and their mothers all tell me the same thing....They're not home or I just missed them. I don't know what I did" Since my parents shift, things have been going well, that is, until my mates started to ghost me 3 days ago

"Do you want me to give them a call?" Tui asks

"I don't think they'd pick up for you either" I groan and fall back on my bed "What did I do wrong?"

"It could be anything Waima, it might not even be your fault" Tui sighs and sits next to me

"It certainly feels like it is"

"Still no answer?" Jay-Jay sighs as he walks into my room

"No" Tui replies "I even asked Sarah and she has no idea why they're not talking to Waima"

"Jeffery said the same thing" Jay-Jay sits next to Tui and they both look as bad as me "Have you tried any of their other family?"

"Yes" I groan, sitting up "Apparently they're all too busy to talk

"So the families are ghosting you as well?" Tui asked frowning

"Yep. I got nothing" I wipe astray tear from my cheek, I've been crying a lot lately

"Let's get to school and after, we'll come up with a game plan to corner them" Jay-Jay suggests

"I don't want to go to school" I pout

"To bad" Mum says from the doorway. Since her change she's been more active physically. She doesn't have a back problem anymore and you'd think she was our older sister with how young she looks. We still haven't forgiven her and Dad for their stupid prank, but relationship wise, we're all good "Everybody up" She claps "No moping in this house"

"But Mum" I whine

"But nothing honey. Get your cute butts up and out of my house"

"You just want to have sex again" Tui mumbles. That's another thing about our parents, their sex drives are through the roof....I'm sure they've done it in my bed

"Let's go! Let's go! Move it!" Mum playfully growls

My siblings and I roll our eyes before getting off my bed. We kiss Mum goodbye on the cheek and pat Lily Pad, who is asleep on the kitchen bench before I follow Tui to her jeep. She takes me to school now cause I've still not got a replacement for myself. I'm stuck on whether to get a brand new SUV or stick to a classic like my old one "It'll be okay" Tui whispers as we drive to school

"It sure doesn't feel like it" I sigh and fall into my seat "Anyway, enough about me and my nonexistent relationships, how are you and Sarah?"

Tuis face breaks out into the biggest smile ever "She wants to have a baby with me after graduating"

"So you talked it out?"

"Yeah" She says "I was really nervous, with her being a minister and everything, I wasn't sure if children were on the cards for her. She said she wants a big family with me but wants to concentrate on school first. She said she wants to be the first in her family to graduate"
