"But still..." Can started, before being cut off.
"Forget about him. I want to know what you're planning on doing?"
"I need to sort things with Anne first. There's been enough leaving things at loose ends." Can told him.
"Dam it boy I told you not to worry about your Anne, she'll come around." His said. "That girl has been through enough. I want you to go and sort things out with her."
"Well if she won't see me?" Can asked.
"Where's this coming from." He took a deep breath before carrying on. "Last night you were so sure of yourself. Willing to do anything to get her back, and now."
"No Baba, I still intend to do everything but..." Can paused.
"You're not sure of her feelings?"
"It's not that, I love her and I know she feels the same. I don't know what I'll do if she won't accept me."
"If you're sure of her feelings, there's nothing to worry about. Now go and get some sleep." He told him patting his back. As they both stood up.
"Thank you Baba, I don't think I could have handled it without you." He stepped forward taking him in a hug. "I love you."
"I love you too son. I'm just glad I came back when I did. And luckily overheard what Polen was saying to you."
"Thank goodness." Can agreed with him.
"Oh yes speaking of Polen. The family left a short while ago."
"I'm sorry Baba, you and Sardar amca's friendship..."
"Is still intact." He told him. "We sat down and discussed it. However it's good that they left tonight. Now go and get some rest."

"You look happy." Layla told Sanem as she came into the room.
Layla was laying down in the living room while Zehra was drawing. Emre was busy cooking them dinner.
Coming over she wrapped her arms around her niece blowing raspberry kisses on her neck. Picking her up and placing her on her knee.
"I've had a good day." Sanem told her while looking at the drawing Zehra was pushing in her face.
"That's lovley darling." Sanem told her.
"Tht...Zehra an Anne an Baba and tehze and that our litte baby." The little girl explained. Pointing to each person she had drawn.
"Who's that bubba?" Sanem asked pointing to something on the paper.
"Tht yor baby tehze." Zehra told her.
"You're my baby." Sanem said squeezing her and kissing the top of her head. Wriggling free Zehra went off Sanems lap going over to her play area.
"Are you ok?" Layla asked.
"I'm fine Abla." Sanem sighed. "Really...I'm fine." She reassured her. "I don't want you walking on egg shells around me abla."
"I'm not." Layla said looking at Sanem who raised her eyebrows like 'really.' "Ok...maybe I am. But I don't want to upset you my love."
"I'm not upset...but this upsets me that you think you have to watch what you say." Sanem told her.
"Actually I wanted to talk to you about something." Layla started.
"Ok..." Sanem said with a frown...thinking something was wrong.
"Don't worry it's nothing bad." Layla reassured her before continueing. "We thought if you didn't mind we'd have a picnic in the park on Thursday."
"Why would I mind but In the park...Abla You're not well enough..." Sanem told her.
"I haven't finished, Sanem I asked if you wouldn't mind b..because we want to do something for you...for the baby." Layla sighed. "Emre suggested the idea. We thought we'd have a picnic then release some bloons in our angels memory." Layla explained.
"Thursday would have been the due date." Sanem smiled through her tears. Thinking it was such a beautiful thought. A chance for her to say a proper good bye to her baby.
"Hey baby." Layla sat up gathering Sanem in her arms. "Please don't cry, I didn't mean to upset." She told her as she wiped away her tears.
"I'm not crying because I'm upset. I'm crying because I feel so lucky...so blessed." Sanem said. "Abla I'm so lucky I have you in my life."
"I'm the lucky one my love." She cupped her face softly kissing her cheek. "When our parents passed away I was broken." She told her. "It was because of you that I was able to be strong. Because of you I started to live again." Layla said fighting back her own tears.
This was the first time in a very long time Layla had mentioned their parents. Sanem knew first hand at what she had gone through for the both of them. Thankfully Layla had found Emre who taken most of the responsibility off her shoulders. He had not only fallen in love with Layla, but had also taken her as his own. She would be forever grateful to him.
"Abla..." Sanem whispered.
"You are my life...I never want to see you unhappy. Every tear you shed..." Layla paused...closing her eyes. "If there was any way I could take the pain...the hurt away from you I would in an instance." Layla finished.
"What's this." Emre came in looking at them. "Have you told Sanem what we planned?" He asked.
Sanem jumped up hugging and planting a kiss on his cheek. "I guess that's a yes." He said smiling at Sanem.
"Thank you Abi..." Sanem started but was cut off.
"No need for thank you's, remember." He told her. "Now no more mopping around...the both of you. Dinner is almost ready." He said coming to Layla. "What about you my love can you come to the table or shall I bring you a plate?" He asked.
"I'm coming to the table. If I stay here all the time I'm going to get back sores with all this lying around." Layla replied.
"Ok...well I'll just get my princess ready." He said scooping Zehra in his arms.

He had been restless all night, barely getting a few hours of sleep. As soon as he'd seen a spec of sunlight he'd been out of the house before anyone was up.
Taking a long walk in the fields. The fresh air had done him wonders and he was now thinking straight. He was waiting for an appropriate time to go knocking on doors.
Looking at his watch he saw it was just past nine. Well he'd waited long enough so he made his way.
Arriving at Selin's house twenty minutes later. Normally a fourty minutes journey. Well today was not a Normal day. He stood knocking at the door.
"Hold you horses...I'm coming." He heard Selin calling, and stopped. "Can...is everything ok...Teyze?" She asked worriedly.
"I'm sorry teyze...yes everything is fine." He quickly told her.
"Well why are banging on the door. " She asked. "You nearly gave me a heart attack ."
"Sorry teyze." He apologised again.
"OK so what's so important that had you banging on the door so early in the morning ?" She asked again.
"I wanted to see Ayhan." He told her.
"Ayhan?" She asked. "She left early."
"What do you mean she left early." He asked. "I didn't know she was heading home." He said with a hint of disappointment.
"No son, not home. She went to the market's with Guliz." She told him. "Is everything ok.?" Selin asked.
"Teyze I need to find Sanem's address." He told her.
"Sanem's?" She asked a little confused.
"Teyze it's a long story and I really don't have the time. So I'll tell you in short she's my wife. I need to find her." He told her.
"Y...y...your wife, Can son what are you saying" She stuttered, taken totally by surprise.
