Ch.23:Let her go

Shai p.o.v

I haven't talked to Theo since two days ago.I can't believe he slept with Ruth.I don't even know what to do anymore.I haven't let Theo in my hotel room,I haven't answered his calls,and I don't even make eye contact with him when I see him.

I don't even let him talk to his own baby....

I know,it's selfish of me,but I don't want my son to have a cheating father.Ruth probably did seduce him in some way,but he needs to have control of what he does.

I hear my phone ringing again.

I roll my eyes and let it ring.

Soon,it ends,and the voicemail starts,

"Hey Shai.I know you're upset with me,I understand.I just....want to hear your voice again,and I want to be able to hold you in my arms again."

It's Theo.I can tell he wants to cry,because I hear his voice cracking,

"I want to be able to be with you while our son grows.I just.....want to be with you."

I put a hand over my mouth so I don't let out a sob.

"I love you.Call me back soon Shai,I just want to talk to you again."

By now,I have tears staining my cheeks.I still love Theo,but I just don't know if I can trust him anymore......

Theo p.o.v

I lost her,I lost Shai.Im so stupid.She won't talk to me,answer my calls,she won't even look at me when were filming.I want to be able to hold her again.I want to be able to be with her while our son grows.

I feel my phone vibrate.I look down at it and look at the caller ID.It's Shai.

I answer it quickly,

"Shai!"I sigh,"Thank god you called me.I missed you so much."

"Yeah...."

"I know you're at mad at me because of all this.Im sorry,I didn't mean to hurt you."

"I know Theo,its just hard to believe you would do that."

"I know....I know."

"I'm only talking to you for a while Theo,Im still angry with you."

"I know,I just uhm.....want to know how our son's doing?"

She clears her throat,"He's uhm...doing good."

"Good."

"Yeah...."

"Shai,when will I be able to gain your trust again?"

She sighs,"I really don't know."

"I'm going to fight for you Shai.I will stop at nothing,until I get you to trust me again."

"Ok,well I have to go now Theo."

"Ok,be careful.I love you."

"I love you too."

She ends the call.

I smile a little,looking down at my phone.She finally talked to me.

Ruth p.o.v

I am almost done with this plan.All I have to do,is make Theo believe that he got me pregnant.

I grab my phone and call Theo,

"What now Ruth?"

I try my best to fake cry,"Theo,we need to talk."

"About?"

"Theo,Im pregnant."

"Wait,what?"

"You got me pregnant."

"No,no,no,no,no."

I keep my fake crying going.

He sighs,"Ruth,please tell me you're lying."

"I'm not Theo,Im sorry."

"Let's go to a doctor tomorrow.Just to make sure."

"Ok,bye Theo."

"Bye."

He hangs up.

My plan is finally coming along.
