BOOK TWO IS OUT
April 23, 2019 Lucia I wake up to a face full of titty and someone's legs wrapped around my waist, I'm confused on who's body is wrapped around me until I smell her sweet scent and know it's just Sage. I calm down and doze off in the same position. I couldn't have been sleep for more than 10 minutes when Brianna starts crying.
I try to move away from Sage but she pulls me closer. So I gently wake her up and she looks down at me noticing she is wrapped around me. She quickly gets off of me and goes to get Brianna. After she picks her up, they get into bed with me. I look at the clock and see it's 6am I guess we're sleeping in today.
By time we wake up again It's 10am and I really need to get to work but I don't want to leave my girls alone since the situation with the other mafia coming after me. I've been leaving a guard around Sage but now that she has a baby with her I don't feel comfortable having anyone around them but me. I need to have a talk with Sage about what I do and how I need to protect her.
It's been 2 days since Sage started to take care of Brianna and since then I've spent the night here every night. Only leaving to go to work then coming right back. The way things are going me and Sage should be dating in no time. That's if she accepts the fact that I'm a mafia boss.
Sage is awake laying next to me playing with Brianna. They're playing peek-a-boo and Briannas laughing. I get out of bed and both their heads turn towards me in unison they look adorable. I tell Sage I need to talk to her so she picks up Brianna and we go into the kitchen to talk.
She looks at me expectantly after she puts Brianna in her high chair. "So you know that what I do for work is a bit shady right" I say. She looks at me pissed off and yells "I found you in a fucking alley with a stab wound whatever your job is has to be illegal. Also you brought a random man to my house who had been grazed by a bullet." By the end of her a little rant she seems really pissed off. I really hope she doesn't kick me out once I tell her the truth.
"So my job is a more than just shady, I'm a mafia boss I run the Italian mafia." After I finish my statement she doesn't look surprised or even pissed off just blank. " I'm sorry I-, I start to say but before I can continue she interrupts me by asking a question.
"Are me and my niece in any danger?" Oh good she's asking questions that means things between us aren't definitely over. Even though we're not really together yet.
"I would never put you in danger cara. Your safe with me but honestly I've had a guard posted in front of the apartment building just in case anything happens while I'm gone." She smiles at me and says "Aw you care about me that's sweet." This isn't going at all as bad as I thought it would. She's very accepting I can't wait to ask her out.
"Im about to drop Brianna off at my friend Imani's house while I go to work okay." I forgot she has to work I guess that's good since if I don't leave in the next thirty minutes I'm gonna have to deal with Mark calling me a million times asking where I am.
"What time do you have to be at work?" I ask her I wonder if she'll come into the office with me I want everyone to know I have found my queen. "Not until 4pm but I'm dropping Brianna off because she has a play date with my friends son." she responds. I ask her if she wants to come see my job, and she says yes.
Right now I'm sitting on the couch waiting for her to get back. She went to drop Brianna off at her friends house. She left about 5 minutes ago so she should be back any minute. I think I have real feelings for Sage I may have not have known her long but I feel like I've known her forever. She makes me happy since I've been with her I've had the most laughs and smile since leaving Italy.
Sage walks in and sits next to me I look at her face she seems a little sad. I ask if she's okay she just nods before bursting into tears. I hurriedly give her a hug, holding her close to me. She stops crying and says "Thank you I just feel bad leaving Brianna with someone else just because I need to work." I frown if she doesn't want to be away from her niece I'll help her she shouldn't have to feel like this.
After a while of me just holding her I look at my watch and see it's already 11:30 we gotta get going. "Tesoro we have to go I have to stop by place to get dressed before we can go to my office." She let's go of me.
"What should I wear?" She asks me while smiling. I smirk at her and say "Cara I'm the boss wear whatever you want." She looks away for a second then goes into her bedroom leaving me on the couch.

She comes out her room wearing a peach colored off the shoulder crop top and a pair of shorts. My jaw drops at how beautiful she looks. I stand up and I walk over to her smirking she smiles back at me. I say to her "sei così fottutamente bella." She giggles then she turns toward her door ready to leave with me walking behind her. Translation: you are so fucking beautiful
