Happy valentine's day. Sending you guys love and light. Y'all fill me with so much love and happiness that I can't even start to say how much❤️❤️❤️

  ~ADAM~

There must be a feeling greater than euphoria.

There must be a word to explain this kind of deep happiness, undiluted bliss, intense feeling of joy that's too much, so much that I could feel it even in my fingertips, that even when I'm sitting down, I'm filled with so much adrenaline that I might as well be on the field running.

It's crazy and unexplainable and I've never felt that way before until her.

We were sitting under the pavilion, away from others. After we won the academic trophy, it had been a different kind of joy for the students of Crescent High. I think that fuelled our energy even more and we were all propelled to even try harder for the sport section.

I did not think the students of Limelight High took losing that lightly, especially Somadina, who looked absolutely horrified and shocked that we won.

Like, that guy actually thought we did not stand a chance of winning.

Too bad.

I had no idea where the rest were, Sophia had probably disappeared off to somewhere with Khalil. Their quick bonding was still something I was still trying to wrap my head around. The fact that it was just the day 2 of the Olympia abd they were already that cool and the fact that from the moment he introduced himself, Sophia had became all chatty with him, it did not sit down with me. Sophia wasn't that kind of person.

I love her but even I know that she wasn't that nice.

And after all these years, figuring Sophia out was something I already gave up on.

Kunle... Kunle was in God knows where. If it was another time, I'd have concluded he he was with Aminah.

Aminah was definitely on the field, jogging or running or probably at the gym, working out. In her words, she have to be fit so she'd be in the best physical condition on the day of the competition. She was dedicating so much time and attention to keeping fit that I was standing to think there something more to winning track.

Kunmi and I were sitting under the pavilion. Dusk was already setting and it was getting scanty outside. The few students that were outside were all in the central market, the happening place of the Olympia. They sold of things there and there were joints for ice creams and pizzas and all sorts of things. We had gone there last night when we still trying to get familiar with the whole place and to say we were mind-blown would be an understatement especially Aminah whose expression and outburst was simply out of the world. I still remembered what she said the moment we walked into the market.

"Wow wow wow wow wow wow wow. This is amazing! Why don't we have a place like this in Crescent High?"

We had all burst into laughter at that, even Alex who I was starting to think had a thick skin.

Nothing seems to faze that guy. Only God knows just what's going on in his head.

Kunmi had been talking nonstop since we got to the pavilion. She was telling me things about her brother, about her favourite TV shows, lots of things, sentences running into each other that I did not know where one ended and the other started. The totality of the words she had said this night was even more than the words she had spoken since I met her.
