WINNER 1: JPKoops
It's harder to imagine a worse night than singing at your ex's wedding. You can't make this stuff up. The happy couple hired a wedding planner - add that to our band name change, and here we are.
I call for the bride and groom to come up for their first dance. I smile, welcoming the new Mr. and Mrs. Robertson to the floor. With the happy couple, arm in arm, dancing for the first time as husband and wife, I sing "I Will Always Love You." Good luck with that.
After thirty minutes, the band takes a break. I don't usually drink while working, but tonight I make an exception.
"Looks like you need a drink. It's on me," the man behind me says.
