"Well, it's the truth." I haisilly replied.

However, the Russian was not satisfied with that answer, "Zhen maybe I can help you come up vith some." He offered.

I shook my head, "No, that isn't necessary. I'll come up with something on my own."

With no more points to push on, Russia's shoulders slumped and he turned his head in a different direction, effectively ending the conversation.

It took a few more moments before EU and the others returned with Mexico in their midst. She was sat down on a chair positioned at the front of the room like last time, but, unlike last time, there were several people at every exit that blocked her from escaping to the outside world.

Her face was full of refusal, discontentment, and a not-so-hidden rath that was painted across it. It was like stone; cold and unbreaking.

But, with enough force, even the toughest stone succumbed and became a pile of rubble on the floor.

Mexico was given a computer to type on, like before, and she wasn't being restrained. I could see that her eyes were scanning around for any hope of escape, but they were only met with deadends.

She slowly accepted that and sunk back in her seat.

EU then opened the floor to questions from all of us. The first questions that were thrown out were from her family, specifically Spain. They were all relating to how she could have went along with the destruction of the UN building.

Her responses were all about the positives: like how only three people died, and two of them were agents from the C.O.S itself.

Spain gave up the floor with one last comment, "Realmente no sabes cuál es el alcance de tus acciones, ¿verdad?" (You really don't know what the extent of your actions are, do you?)

Questions flew around the room, some needed to be translated where others didn't, but none of them discovered anything new, because the ones that were direct were avoided and the ones which were crafty got an equally crafty response.

I had been thinking about how to approach this, and I had finally come up with something to ask. So, I raised my hand and waited to be called on.

"Yes, America?" I caught Mexico's glance at me, it was disapproving.

I cleared my throat, "I actually have a question for you, EU." His face shifted over to mine and it cocked slightly. "Did you discover anything about this figure in the texts?"

I knew I couldn't get an answer out of Mexico, so I had to get it from an outside source; EU and her phone.

He thought about this for a moment, but nodded. "Yes, we did get some quite...fascinating information out of it."

"Which would be?"

EU pulled out a slip of paper and looked over it, "Well, it says here that this person was known by the name 'Cabi' and they wanted to create a government led by a countryhuman. I also discovered that Mexico was relaying the information she learned here to her partner; that's why she wasn't here earlier."

His eyes scanned over the document in his hands, this made his eyebrows furrow. "There is also a mention of states. Here, I'll read you what it says."

He cleared his throat and began, "'Sure I can. I'll just whip out my charms, some cookies, and sprinkle in a few lies. I've been studying the states for a while now, and I know that they are missing their 'dear ol' dad' so a parental figure is the right way to go.'"

My eyes widened and my mouth went dry. That sounded like my states, too much like my states.

The second half of the meeting ended shortly after that, and I couldn't help but feel sick to my stomach. My mind traveled back down the road of worry and it got wedged in between denial and fear.
