To Survive (Chapter 1 Part 12)

Sakura: Anyway like Asu said,  herself and Sayaka were the only one to do and in and out of the kitchen unsupervised. So one of them took the knife.

Toko: It h-has to be her!

She pointed at me.

Asu: How can you be so sure about it. 

Togami: You sure, it's either a dead girl or you that is alive. Choice is hard to make.

Asu: Maybe it is now, but I am sure later it will be easier to draw the line.

Yasuhiro: Fine, but Aoi or any of the two could of took it!

Aoi: Actually, no. Because...um...well...

Mondo: Just spit it out already!

Sakura: Well, Asu left before us and headed in her room. We didn't see her going out. Plus, I stayed in Hina's room last night.

Aoi: I got so scared thanks to those creepy videos. I wasn't really thinking, I just asked her to stay over. Which means we have airtight alibis!

Toko: You s-stayed over...? Doesn't that v-violate one of the school r-regulations?

Fujisaki: We're not allowed to sleep anywhere but the dorms, but it doesn't say we have to stay in our assigned room... So I don't think that's the problem. 

Taka: It IS a problem! A boy and a girl spending the night together!? It's... It's... unwholesome!

Sakura: But... I'm a girl.

Taka: Wh-!? You are!? Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!

Celeste: Let's say Asu, Hina or Sakura didn't take the knife so that leaves us only Sayaka. Am I right?

Makoto: I believe Asu when she says she didn't take the knife, but I'm sure Sayaka only took the knife only for self-defence in case something happened.

Asu: Not a smart choice to trust someone without evidence, but I guess it's fine. 

Sakura: I have to admit, Asu hang out with us for a while. I'm pretty sure we would have noticed something if she had a knife on her. Sayaka was acting strange. She headed right to the kitchen to "grab a glass of water" as she mentionned, but left as quickly as she arrived.

Togami: So if I understand everything. she took the knife but that same knife was taken from her and it's the weapon that finished it all. In that case, maybe Asu is innocent, but as for Makoto he may have not taken the knife, but he still could of killed her. 

Hifumi: So that's how you could twist the argument and send us all off in the wrong direction...!? Hm-hmm... You possess a most terrifying talent...

Kyoko: Hold on. It's still too early to decide conclusively that Makoto is the killer, wouldn't you say? Because, you see, if the room did belong to the killer, then they did something bewildering. And until we unravel that little mystery, you simply can't declare that he's the killer.

Mondo: bewildering? What the hell are you talking about!?

Kyoko: Something was missing from the scene of the crime that by all rights should have been there. Makoto, I am sure you know what I am talking about, don't  you?

Makoto: That's, right!  i finally understand. There wasn't a single hair on the floor!

I noded.

Kyoko: It would be normal that there would be Makoto's and Sayaka's hair since they both spend time there, but they weren't any meaning the killer removed them.
