Chapter 4: The Other Side

Lucia's P.O.V

"Beep"

"Beep"

"Beep"

I slowly was awoken by the great sound of my alarm clock. Keeping my eyes squinted the agonizing beeps kept getting louder.

"I don't even remember setting a alarm" I muttered out reaching over thinking about throwing my clock out the window.

"Thud"

I slammed my fist down on the snooze button shutting it up.

Leaning back over I threw my blankets off of me while keeping my gaze up at my ceiling.

"It's too early for this shit" I sat up rubbing my eyes.

"¡Hola! ¿Queréis bajar?" someone's voice echoed all the way upstairs through my door.

I heard Luz shout something back but I couldn't understand it.

Finally getting up I dragged myself out my bed to the stairs, walking down Luz came barging out of her room up right behind me.

Not paying attention she almost tackled me down.

"Watch it!" I turned around facing Luz.

"Sorry...I'm just exited!" Luz sparked out jumping in place.

"About what, it's not your birthday yet...right?" I was scratching my head.

"Well we are leaving today right" hearing this shot the plans right into my head.

"Right right right" I quickly went over how I was gonna execute this in my head "I don't know when we're leaving but I'll make sure I don't leave you behind" after I finished speaking I ruffled with Luz's hair which pissed her off.

Once I stopped I gave her a strong grin but we were both startled at instant.

"You two going to join me or just keep arguing?" Camila shouted up the stairs standing at the bottom.

We both stared at her before looking back at each other, then looking back at our mom I was first to walk down towards the kitchen.

Once Luz and I got there we all sat down.

"So mind explaining why were up so early?" I spoke up while peeking over at the clock too see that it's 6 am.

"Well if your leaving today you both need to pack up what you need and there's rules I need to go over" Camila intertwined her fingers on the table.

"Simple enough. Is that it?" I questioned.

"Not exactly but I'll explain the rest once you guys pack up" looking over I could see the excitement in Luz's face.

"Ok we'll be right back" getting up I tapped Luz's shoulder to follow me upstairs.

Once we got to the top I felt something tug my shirt behind me, turning around I saw Luz with a confused look on her face.

"Hey Lucia do I need to pack anything specifically?" looking at Luz I gave her a 'really' look.

"Clothes dummy" turning back towards my room I knew Luz was reaching out to ask another question but didn't.

Once back in my room I took a ponder around inspecting simple things that were just on my dresser and by my bed before walking to the end of my room taking a seat in my window seal, leaning onto it I could feel the cold glass against my cheek watching the sun slowly get higher and brighter.

After a few deep breaths I reached into my pocket pulling out my phone and to my surprise I had no notifications.

Sliding my phone back to where it came from I got up taking a long stretch following with a yawn.
