Kara chased after Mon-El as he stalked out of the loft.

"Wait! Hear me out!"

"What are you going to tell me, Kara? That you haven't accepted his confession earlier so you are doing it now?"

"Is that what you think is happening? Trust me, it's not. It-"

"Then what have you got to say? I just saw you confess. Those words in the dreamstate . . . did those mean nothing?"

"I meant it! Every single word."

"That doesn't explain what I just saw. A candlelit dinner? And what seemed to be a confession?"

"Mon-El! It was purely practice."

"For what? The real thing?"

Kara blushed, "Y-yes. But not for him, I already like someone."

"I-I'm sure they are very lucky."

"He is. Prince Mon-El of Daxam, the superhero Valor. You are the love of my life . . . will you be my boyfriend?"

"Wh-what?"

"Heh . . . I'm sorry. Did you think that I'd choose him over you?"

"Honestly . . . yeah. He's strong, handsome . . . what's not to like?"

Kara adjusted his collar, pulling him into a kiss. "Now, may we have the dinner that Halk Kar and I took so long to set up for us?"

"Yes, we may."

From the corner of her eye, she could see Halk Kar give her a sad smile before he walked back into the loft. Seconds later, she saw someone fly out of the window.

Kara took Mon-El's outstretched arm and followed as he led her back into the loft.

He pulled out a chair for her, pushing it in as she sat down. Smiling, he took a seat opposite her. Kara looked at him. "What are we supposed to do?"

"Just . . . talk, I guess."

"So, I'm sorry of what I did."

"Nah, it's my fault for misunderstanding you."

Kara smiled. "So what should we talk about?" She cut into the meat as Mon-El cut into his.

"Uhm . . . tell me about your life."

"You know a lot about it."

After a while of eating in silence, Kara sighed, breaking the silence, "Well this is awkward."

"Yeah. Maybe we should try to come up with a topic. Uhm, how about '20 Questions'?"

Kara shrugged.

"I'll start. What's your favourite colour?"

"Blue."

Kara grinned, "Hobby?"

"Playing video games, watching movies and just hanging out, I guess."

Kara smiled. Her life was finally coming together . . . hopefully nothing would tear them apart now . . .

A/N: Okay, I know this chapter is short but that's because we are coming closer and closer to the end of the story. I have not much clue what to write about next, and I'd like to ask you all what you would like to see in the next chapters before the story ends. But if there is no suggestions by Friday (my time), then I would just post whatever I have and that's the end of it. So whilst there is still time, write your suggestions in the comments!

Also, thank you all so much for getting this onto #2 on 'karamel'! It's much appreciated!
