Darkness consumed me. Protect mate. Protect pups. The words repeated in my head.
"Kacchan! Run outside. His quirk is weak to light!" Zuzu calls out to me. My body obeyed.
Protect mate. Protect pups. The darkness consumed me again.
Feet hitting gravel, fists punching flesh, sweet screams of pain...protect mate. Protect pups.
"Kacchan! Behind you!" He yells as something hits me hard. Protect Mate. Protect Pups. Protect Mate. Protect Pups.
"Kacchan! Stay down! I can fight!" Mate pleads. My fist hits another object. It goes down in groans of pain. Feet racing over dirt and gravel. A battle cry, above me. I set off an explosion. A yelp from mate draws my attention.
"Kacchan! I'm fine! Get back to the fight!" Mate shouts, sounding tired but alive. Protect Mate. Protect Pups.
More battle cries. "Mate! Get down!" I created a large explosion waiting to go off.
"We're safe!" Mate informs as I threw the explosion at the battle cries. Mate yelped.
"We're fine Kat. Keep fighting!" Mate calls.
Protect Mate. Protect Pups.
No! Keres! My baby boy! A woman shouts, crying.
"Kacchan we have to go. Now!" Mate orders, pulling me away from the woman's cries.
Protect Mate. Protect Pups.
