CHAPTER 26 : It's Christmas!

Xyla’s POV

I’m at the palace inside my room. Two more days before Christmas. Nakakabagot. Hindi ko ramdam ang kasayahan sa Pasko. The three puppies were playing while I was sitting on my window looking at the wide butterfly garden. Bat may tuta ako? Regalo sakin nina Xylo, Kai at Sehun noong birthday ko. Nagkaroon tuloy ako ng instant babies. Mag-kakaiba pa man din ang lahi nila kaya hindi ko alam kung makakaya kong alagaan kaya iniwan ko sila dito sa palasyo. Atleast dito, maraming magbabantay sa kanila kapag wala ako. My phone suddenly rung so I answer it.

 

“Hello? … Luhan? … Uhh… nothing, just resting. How ‘bout you? … Oh, same here. … No. It’s just… too boring. … As if. Sige na, bye.” I sighed. He was just asking if what I’m doing and he said he was doing nothing too and so bored at home. He then asked if I miss him. I’m thinking some sort of things. Luhan wouldn’t go home and the rest would go home for New Year same as Yaya and Bel. So he would be left alone at home. Sino nalang makakasama niyang magcelebrate ng bagong taon? His Dad was a bit hard to him. Ano bang magagawa niya kung ayaw ng anak niya sa gusto niyang mapangasawa ni Lulu? Why not he just marry the girl by himself? Tsk. Kailangan ba problema ng ibang tao problemahin ko pa?

 

 

“Boo!”

 

 

“Ay Luhan!” Napakapit ako ng husto sa bintana at sinamaan ng tingin si Xylo. I get down and looked at him furiously.

 

 

“Haha… anong Luhan ha? Iniisip mo si flower boy?” Pang-aasar niya. Hinampas ko lang siya sa braso atsaka ako lumabas ng kwarto ko kasunod yung tatlong tuta.

 

 

“Hey, you’re thinking Luhan don’t you? Do you like him?” I stop and face Xylo.

 

“Yes, I do like him. I like them all so stop teasing.”

 

 

“Yiihiiiee… Xyla has a crush… Luhan’s her crush!” Sabi niya saka nagmadaling bumaba. Napailing nalang ako. Napakameaner niya naman. Ang hilig maglagay ng meaning sa mga bagay-bagay. Tuloy-tuloy nalang akong bumaba at pumunta sa sala. I saw the whole family. Mama, Papa, Tita, Tito, Xytee, Xylene and Xylo. Napatingin silang lahat sakin at nakangiti.

 

 

“What? Don’t give me those creepy smiles.” I said and sit beside Xylene.

 

“Ate, is it true that you have a crush and it’s Kuya Lu?” I look at Xylene then Xylo.

 

“It’s not true Xylene. Don’t believe your Kuya because he’s a meaner.”

 

“What’s the issue then? That guy’s a beautiful man and you look good together.” I looked at Mama.
