Chapter 28

3rd person

Jho woke up late in the morning and found Ye was not in the bed anymore. She checked the time at her phone and it's past 12 noon already.

Jho stood out of the bed and reached to open the curtains that blocked its view from the outside. And there she found both her bestfriends eating their lunch. Ye waved at her as well as Ara and she waved back at them. They signaled her to come outside to join them for lunch and so Jho nodded at them.

She then changed clothes before going outside.

"You're such a boring. This is supposed to be our vacation pero tinulugan mo lang tong lugar na to!"
Ye complained at her.

"Napasarap lang ng tulog ano ka ba. "
Jho responded as she seated with them.

Ara gave her plate and utensils.

"Mag-aaway na naman kayong dalawa nyan. Huwag ka ng sumagot pa Ye."
Ara warned.

And Ye listened. The three of them enjoyed their lunch when Jho heard the familiar voice approaching to their table.

Napalingon agad sya. At hindi nga sya nagkakamali. It's her. But she is with ate Ella and someone else.

Jho couldn't help but stare at her in awe especially that she's wearing an unbuttoned blue polo shirts and a pair ot black bikini. But her eyes were not at her but to that woman beside her. They were both laughing and in love as if no other people existed here.

She wished to shower before she went out. If only she knew Bea would be here, she could have prepared herself.
Jho couldn't help but to compete herself to the girl beside her. She's pretty but she's prettier.

Ara called out their attention. Jho looked at her surprised. So Ara knew? Why didn't Ara mentioned it to her? She looked at Mika who also didn't look so surprised.

Naramdaman na lang nyang nakalapit na pala sa table nila ang tatlo.

Kaya pala more than 3 people itong table na pinili nila kasi may dadating pa palang iba.

Jho couldn't move. Nagsisimulang nanginig ang kanyang dalawang tuhod lalo na ng umupo si Bea sa tabi nya.

"Mind if I sit here?" She asked her cooly.

Her mouth couldn't say a word kaya napatango na lang si Jho. She busied herself to eating her lunch but Bea's presence affected her that much. She could not even look at her especially when she's talking with the girl named Julia. Right, pinakilala ni ate Ella ang kasama nila.

"Buti naman nagka mini reunion tayo dito. Tsaka nga pala, ang sharap ng pagkain dito ah! Namimiss ko sobra ang pagkain sa pinas!" Ate Ella exclaimed.

"Kahit kailan talaga ate Ells wala kang pinagbago. Patay gutom ka pa rin." Mika laughed.

"Ikaw din Ye. Ang tangkad mo na ah! Di halatang dugyot ka noon."

Nagtawanan ang lahat sa sinagot ni ate Ella. Mika was also laughing. Akala ko mapipikon sya. Hindi pala.

"Kumusta naman kayong tatlo? Are you all doing well?" Pagtatanong ni ate Ella.

"Yeah. We're doing better actually. We've become the best of friends." Ara smiled.

Napatingin si Bea kay Ara. She wondered but shoed it away. Perhaps they're bestfriends and partners or wives.

Napansin ni Jho na hinawakan ni Julia ng mahigpit ang kanang kamay ni Bea.  And Bea is doing the same. Right, of course magkakaroon sya ng bagong girlfriend sa tinagal-tagal ng panahon after she broke her heart.
