_____Royce's Point of View_____

"How about, in an hour, I sneak out and come over for the night." I suggest as I hugged Lexi against me.

She shook her head, a distinct smile on her face from the thought of us spending the night together. "Not tonight."

"Wh-"

She placed her hand on my chest and sighed. "Normally I wouldn't mind, actually you know how much I love when you're there with me...but, my Aunt is coming tonight."

"Oh that's cool" I nodded, I remembered how much she said she likes her aunt. "Well how long will she be in town?"

At this she shrugged, "however long she can stand to be around grandma...those two have always butted heads. Anyways, I really have to go."

I tightened my arms around her and she didn't protest, "fine" I leaned down and kissed her once. "Will you still come to the game tomorrow?"

"I wouldn't miss it" she smiled and then added, "just, don't expect me to be sitting with the Alpha and Luna."

I couldn't help but kiss her again, "I know the feeling."

She shook her head, "it's not because I don't like them Royce, it's because for the longest time I've been on the outside and suddenly I'm being thrust to the inside...not that I mind as long as I'm with you."

I nodded my head, "that's completely understandable," I then watched as she got into her car, she gave me one more wave before she drove off.

I walked back inside and went straight up to my bedroom, I took a seat at the computer chair (which I had brought in after Lexi had grown accustomed to being in my bed) and let tonight's events fill my head. I actually didn't get that far into my thoughts when a light knock sounded on my door.

I sighed, there's only one person who bothers coming up here, I got up fully expecting to see Roy but was pleasantly surprised to see it was Raven.

"Hey" I smiled a little unknowingly.

She strolled into the room comfortably at home, then again, this was her room before they placed me in here. "I like what you've done to the place." She commented as she looked around at my various things laying around.

"Sorry," I sighed and then began picking up dirty laundry that was scattered about the floor, "it's kind of a mess."

She shrugged, "I was under the impression all boys have messy rooms."

"It's normally a lot cleaner, but this weeks been a little hectic to say the least."

She nodded then that silence started to settle in, it was about to get awkward when she suddenly spotted something to her liking.

"Get out!" She said excitedly as she walked over and held up one of my records. "Is this yours?"

I nodded and made my way over to my record collection. "Yeah, I'm kind of a purist."

She shook her head in awe, "I haven't been able to find a decent record store around here, I have to order online, and my old record player broke."

Now I shook my head, "no, the shops are where it's at...i mean you walk in solely for one thing but when you get to browsing is when you find the buried treasures" I admitted, "oh like this one," I said as I picked up one of my favorite records. "I honestly had never even heard of them, but I went to a record store up in London and as I was looking for something else entirely some random dude saw my hand touch this one and highly suggested it, I purchased it for like 13 pounds...seriously the best 13 pounds I've ever spent."

We soon fell into an organic conversation on music we love, styles we like, movies we've seen...it was like catching up with an old best friend.

"Oh," she said as she looked down at her watch, "I should probably let you get some sleep...dad'll kill me if he finds out I kept you up this late."

I looked down at my cellphone and saw that it was already going on three in the morning.

We both got up from the floor and she began to leave, "hey incase I don't see you before the game, good luck tomorrow bro."

I couldn't help but smirk, is this what it's like to have a proper sibling?

"Thanks sis."

After she left I took a quick shower and then laid down, it didn't take long for sleep to settle in and before I knew it I was out cold.

I suddenly woke up to the sound of my door being slammed open, I jumped up and found Ryland standing there looking amped.

"What the fuck Ry?" I asked groggily.

He only laughed, "come on 15, we're gonna be late!"

I shook my head before I made my way to the closet I found some jeans and a shirt and threw on some shoes. I would get into my football gear once I get to the gym.

As we make our way downstairs the people I passed clapped me on the back and gave me words of good luck, I looked over to the kitchen and spotted Raven she waved at me and looked slightly amused, I didn't blame her...none of these people talk to me on a normal everyday basis and yet here they were give me words of encouragement for our upcoming game.

Once Ryland and I got to the gym we suited up. Coach came out and gave us a pep talk, as I sat in the bleachers I looked around...these weren't just my class mates, these guys are my teammates, I'd be going out there today and protecting them and they'll be protecting me, just like a pack.

It was in that moment that I suddenly got serious, my Alpha blood kicked in and suddenly I needed to win, not for myself, but for my teammates.
