Graduation has passed. It seemed like just yesterday. Who knew 2 months could go by so quickly? A piece of paper that told me I would be attending my dream college was finally moving into action. I packed away my life in bags and boxes. Everything I needed for college life was ready. You'd think I would be thrilled to be going to college after working so hard for it. But as I packed the boxes into the vehicle every part of me was hurting and all I wanted to do was unpack it all.
I put the last box in and closed the trunk. I turned around.
"Ready?" He sighed.
I took in a deep gasp, "I'm scared."
"Don't be." He told me, running his hands up and down my arms to calm my nerves.
"I'm terrified." My eyes were watering.
The past week I found myself crying every time I saw his radiant blue eyes.
"What scares you so much baby?" He asked.
"I'm scared of not being with you." I coughed out through my tears.
He pulled me tightly to his body. I wrapped my arms around him too, crying into his shoulder.
"Please Sam." He whispered.
I moved apart from our hug, his hands cupped my face as he said to me, "I love you."
I collected myself as much as I could, "I love you too, Hayes."
"Don't ever forget that." He smiled, just barley.
I shook me head, because I could never forget.
