•••next day•••
•••SAMS POV•••

Hayes and I both agreed to meet in the dance room after classes to practice because we did not have class time today.
I was bending down to untie my shoe in the empty room, Hayes was late as usual. I didn't even here the door open, I only knew Hayes was there when I felt a light smack on my ass.

"Fuck off." I shoved him by the shoulder as he laughed.

"Ok. Where are we starting from?"

"The line that says maybe just the touch of a hand."

I set up the music and stood waiting for Hayes to go to his spot. Suddenly I felt shy again in his presence just like before.
Hayes was standing behind me, with his body too close to my back. I felt his hot breaths on my neck. I took in a deep breath and then pressed the button to play the music.
We did the dance almost perfect until we reached the point where Hayes had to pick me up. He lifted me off the ground but did not have a good balance on his own feet. He slipped and fell to the floor with me in his hands. He landed on his back and I was on top of him. We were both laughing. I sat up to look down at him, we both slowly stopped laughing.

"I miss this." Hayes said, smoothly rubbing his hand on my arm. For some reason I didn't care.

"Miss what?"

"Laughing. With you."

My smile went away, because I secretly missed it too.

•••HAYES POV•••

Sam didn't say anything about what I had just said.
She got up "Let's keep going from where the music is."
I stood up and thought for a second to see where we were in the dance.

Take me into your loving arms.

We stood close and in front of each other, both raising our hands at the word 'arms'

"Why can't you just.." I started. Pausing because we were dancing.

Sam had to put her arms around my neck and mine on her hips.

Then I finished, "trust me?"

We began to turn in a circle.
Sam didn't answer, she only dance. She began to turn around like I was suppose to too. I stopped her motion and had her facing me. One hand on her hip and the other holding her chin to face me.

"Hayes that's not in the dance."

"I know." I told her. "Please answer me."

"I have... so many times."

"But I want the truth."

Sam looked away from my eyes lost for words.

"Hey," I took her chin in my finger and turned her to look at me again "you can trust me."

"I umm..."

I was left to stare at her beautiful eyes, wishing I could kiss her right now.

Sam's phone began to ring. She pulled away from me to pick up the call.

"Hello?... Ok. Ya I'll be right out." she said into the phone and hung up.
"I have to go."

She began to leave but this Time I didn't want to just watch her walk away.

"Sam, wait." I jogged to her.

•••SAMS POV•••

I turned around to Hayes calling after me. Before I could even fully turn my body Hayes had his hands on my waist and his forehead on mine.

"Do you trust me?" He whispered.

"I-I don't know." I said off guard.

Slowly and gently he pressed his lips on mine. Then said "Well think about it."

I felt his grip on me loosen. I didn't say anything, I just walked out the door with the taste of his lips on mine.

I jogged out and got into the car waiting for me in front of the building with Taylor inside.

"Oh god you smell." She said covering her nose.

"Sorry I'm sweaty." I said back, "come on let's go, I have a date remember?"
