Hotel Transylvania....
It was another busy night at the hotel as Dracula was working at the lobby giving hotel keys to the monster guests."Yes here's your key and enjoy your stay." Dracula said with friendly smile as he gave the key to a monster guest.
"Thank you, Dracula." The monster guest as he headed to his given room.
Dracula then saw Mavis in the lobby as well. Sitting on a couch admiring the engagement ring that her fiancé, Johnny gave her when they were in Hawaii. Dracula smiled seeing his daughter so happy and about to get married. He went over to check on her.
"Oh hey, dad." Mavis said as she saw her dad.
"Hello, my little Mavy-wavy. Why are still doing here? Shouldn't you be with your aunts and uncles at the pool?" Dracula asked as he sat beside her.
"I know, dad. I'm just waiting for Johnny to come back. You know he's bringing a family member of his at the hotel." Mavis said while feeling a little nervous on meeting a family member of Johnny's.
"Yes. He is. I'm sure this human that Johnny is bringing is really friendly." Dracula said also nervous about inviting another human in the hotel.
Dracula and Mavis kept talking about her and Johnny's trips around the world for a couple of minutes enjoying their father and daughter time. Dracula just smiled with pure of joy seeing his daughter so much happy that she gets the chance to travel around the world and safe with her zing by her side.
"Daddy, are you alright? You seem a little... sad." Mavis asked curiously like her dad was about to cry.
"It's nothing, Mavy. It's just that I'm happy for you." Dracula admitted with a pure joyful smile but then it was replaced by sadness. "You've grown up to be a beautiful woman just like your mother. I've never seen you this so much happier before. Now that you're getting married in the near future. I'm afraid I'm going to lose my little girl and I'll be all alone."
"Aww, Daddy. Don't give me the pouty bat face." Mavis said as he hugged her dad cheering him up. "You don't have to worry about that. I promise you that no matter how old I get, I'll always be your little girl and I promise that I'll never leave you."
"Really?! You'll never leave?!" Dracula exclaimed forming his joyful smile again.
"Of course. This is home for me and besides, Johnny likes it here too so I guess we're going to stay here for a very long time." Mavis said.
"Hooray! She's staying!" Dracula cheered in victory as he hugged his daughter once more which made Mavis giggle.
A few minutes later, Johnny entered the lobby carrying suitcases on both his hands.
"Johnathan, you're back!" Dracula said in surprise.
"Johnny!" Mavis exclaimed and gave him a welcome hug, which he hugged her back.
"Guys, there's someone I would like you to meet." Johnny said to Dracula and Mavis as a man entered the lobby carrying his suitcases as well. "Everyone, this is a friend of family's for a very long time and he also took care of me when I was kid, Alfred Pennyworth."
"Pleasure to meet you, Alfred." Dracula said giving Alfred a friendly hand shake.
"Well the pleasure is all mine, Dracula." Alfred was really honored to meet THE famous legendary Count Dracula. Alfred then turns to Mavis giving her a friendly handshake where he could perfectly spotted her engagement ring. "And you must be Mavis. Johnny told me a lot of wonderful stories about you and your father. Congratulations on the engagement by the way. I am very happy for the two of you."
"Thank you, Alfred. Johnny proposed to me when we were in Hawee-wee. He could be a goofball and romantic at the same time." Mavis said while blushing.
Johnny just laughed from what Mavis said. "And some day, she's going to make her future husband the luckiest man alive." Johnny wrapped his arm around Mavis and kissing her on the head.
To be continued....
