Part 16 Unraveling

"Haan Rudra! Mujhe Kuch bhi Yaad Nahi hai. Kisi Tarah mujhe tum or tumhare sath bitaya hua har pal Yaad hai or sirf maa. Iske alawa mujhe Kuch bhi Yaad Nahi hai" Maya cried on his shoulder. He was hugging her too.

"Vikram kehta tha ke vo Mera husband hai, Mera accident hua car me or mujhe chot

lag gayi. Memory loss ki vajah se Mai to usko bhi Nahi jaanti jise Vikram ne maara hai."

"Rajeev hai vo, tumhara dost" Rudra explained.

"Ha vo to Mai jaanti Hu. Ab tak sirf usme me hi Maine Apne liye concern Dekha hai. Pata Nahi vo muje Kuch kehna chahta tha, vo keh Raha tha ke Mai Uske sath chali jau..par...par Mai bahut dar gayi thi Rudra." She sobbed.

Rudra was holding her intently and finally sat down next to her. He was able to sense her helplessness but he still couldn't come to terms that why she had done such a big crime. How could she do it to him. He jerked her away with that thought. Maya was astonished with his behaviour.

"Kyu gussa ho tum mujhse Rudra. Kya tum sab Kuch bhool gye ho, humara pyaar, humare vaade! Mai to apna naam tak NHI jaanti thi. Vikram pata Nahi kon kon si jhuthi kahaniya mujhe suna Raha tha." Maya told him all what Vikram had been doing to her till now. "..Par tab bhi mere tassavur me sirf tum Aate the. Mai tumhe pehchan Nahi paati thi par har lamha Maine sirf tumhe mehsoos Kia hai Rudra. "Firse ye sab Karke tumhe Kuch haasil Nahi Hoga Maya. Vo Rudra mar chuka hai Jo tumse beyhadh pyar krta tha. Ab mujhe sirf tumse nafrat hai. Tumhe kya Lagta hai ke tum muje Jo bhi bata rahi ho Mai usse saara gussa bhul jaunga. Haa!? Tum meri nafrat ki intehaan dekhogi Maya. Bas tumhe ek baar sab Kuch Yaad aa jaye. Aakhir Mai bhi jaanna Chahta Hu ke Tumne ESA kyu Kia." Rudra removed her hands from his face and held her by hairs "tumhe jitna dard deta Hu na utni Khushi mujhe Hoti hai. I wish you can sense that."

Maya was crying silently. "Agar tumhe is sab se Khushi mil rahi hai to Jo man me ho vo karlo. I can do anything for your happiness."

"Stop faking it Maya!" He yelled at the top of his voice and pushed Maya. She fell backwards and her head hit the wall. Blood started flowing and Maya fainted. However Rudra did not felt even a bit of relief as he had claimed. He moved closer to her and caressed her. "Kaash tumhe sab Yaad aa jaye Maya. Mai tumhe Sunna Chahta Hu." He whispered but suddenly realised what he has said.

He muttered "I'm sorry Rishi. I'm really sorry. Mai isse nafrat bhi Nahi Kar paa Raha, Mai fail hogya hu. I am not a good brother right!?. Par bas Ek baar Mai Maya ko sun lu! Please Rishi I need to listen to her. Uske baad I promise Mai ise Apne hatho se maar dunga!"

"Par agar apko Maya ki kahani sachhi ke sath sath sympathetic bhi lagne lagi to!? Mera kya Hoga! Bhaii bas itna kahunga sach Ka sath dena or Sahi Ka. I love you bro!" Rudra saw Rishi saying this all in his lively voice. His question was correct. "Kya Hoga agar Maya Sahi Hogi to!! Nahi vo Maya hai, vo is baar bhi jhoot hi bolegi! I know" Rudra tried to explain himself.

"Ye kya hogya hai mujhe! Complete mess! Mujhe Maya ke liye sympathy Ka khayal bhi Nahi aana chaiye!" With this he punched the wall but Maya placed her palm between the wall and his fist. Maya stirred a bit "don't do it Rudra. Tumhari koi Galti Nahi hai." Her head was still paining a lot. Rudra was seeing her with his eyes wide open. What kind of woman she is. She is not a bit angry with Rudra for pushing her.

"Kisi se beyhadh nafrat to Kisi Ka liye beintehaa mohobbat rakhti hai ye dil me." He thought to himself. She is Maya. An illusion after all.

"Rudra Rajeev ne mujhse ye bhi Kaha tha ke Maine Kisi ke Bhai ko maara hai or ab vo insaan bhi mujhe maarna Chahta hai..kya vo Vikram ki baat Kar Raha tha!? Kya Maine Kisi ko maara hai Rudra?" She asked him.

"Tumne mere Bhai ko maara hai Maya. Tumne mere Rishi ko maara hai. Rajeev MERI baat Kar Raha tha"

Maya gaped at him in shock.
