Once upon a time,
That's how all fairy tales begin,
Happily ever after,
That's how they all end,
But not all stories end with a happy ending,
There's no Prince Charming waiting for her to love him,
And live happily ever after,
Not even a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow,
All the while they are no longer in control,
But her,
And she must create her own happy ending,
But she must work harder than others,
To get her ending,
While her life is mending,
She must make it through life,
And never look into the evil eye,
Or she might die,
But she's in control of her fairy tale,
She works slowly on the smallest parts like a snail,
She's in control,
No one else but her,
Now it's complete,
Once upon a time,
That's how all fairy tales begin,
Happily never after,
That's how her fairy tale ends
