His Love Gone

Those darkest, deepest hazel eyes,

Look straight into mine; as he takes deep hard breathes as he slowly dies,

His blood warm against my cold shivering pale skin,

His gaze is locked with mine,

Those penetrating wet cold tears begin to fall,

As I slowly whisper his precious name to heed my worryingly call,

"Please don't go" I say,"Don't leave me",

Death begins to try to take him away,

I hold him tightly in my cold shivering arms, closely to my heart,

As the water of death tries to pull us apart,

He gently reaches for my face, with his now pale cold hand,

As he tries to say those three words,

I can't hardly understand,

"I love you" once were words that were so powerful,

From his lips,

But now so painfully sad,

Under those falling stars, I've lost the most important thing I've ever had......

That's now forever gone
