Broken

Far away there's a girl,

Who never knew her real name,

Who sits alone in the rain,

To forget all the pain,

There's no way out,

She's alone

Cold and scared,

Nobody comes to the rescue,

To help her through the pain,

But she has a friend,

That never leaves her side,

Who she'll never leave behind,

It's hard, but sharp,

She grips it in her fist,

And takes out her arm,

To cut her precious pale skin,

It's her obsession,

And she can't stop,

Her life is falling

While people are calling

Kids are screaming,

Death is scheming,

Bodies toppling over,

Blood so red,

She cuts so deeply,

It hurts,

But a sound of relief slips,

From her baby pink lips,

Her time is slowing,

All the hatred is growing,

While death is near,

To take her away
