Ice Cold

Chapter 6

"Thanks for coming with us. We appreciate you guys. It's nice to have you as friends. See you at our next meeting." Reiner said to Oluo and Petra.

Bertholdt sat beside Y/n, with her head on his shoulder as they listen to music using earbuds. Bertholdt wrapped his arm around Y/n's shoulder as he felt her snuggle into him.

Levi was forced to watch the two skaters snuggle together in their seats. Oluo and Petra insisted that Levi needs to come with them. "Come on guys. We're wasting our time here." Levi said as he tapped his shoe on the ground in an annoyed manner.

"Come on Levi! Can you just wait for a minute?!" Petra whispered and yelled at the same time

"You forced me to go with you! I don't even want to be here!!" He yelled.

"Then go! I just want you to be supportive with our new friends!" Petra yelled.

"Your new friends!!" Levi yelled at her then walked away.

"I'm so sorry guys. Levi isn't in the mood right now." Then she continued to talk to Reiner and Oluo.

"Last night, he didn't accept Pooh so I gave it to some random child. I also told him about my side of the story, and of course he wasn't listening so I just talked to myself."

"Don't worry, Y/n. We're still here for you." Bertholdt smiled and kissed the top of her head. "Come on. Let's get ready, our flight about to board." He smiled.

Levi stood in the distance, watching them. His face became huffy as he watched further more. He stumped away from all of them and sat on a pavement by the airport.  He crossed his arms and stared at the ground.

Petra and Oluo was left inside the airport as Y/n, Bertholdt and Reiner boarded the plane. They walked out only to see Levi glaring at the ground. Petra pulled him up and called a taxi to go home.

"Levi, you should be thankful that you met your old best friend. That happens once in a life time for someone. Y/n's nice and very caring, she won you a toy to see you smile at her but then you acted rude." Petra scowled her friend.

"What do you expect me to do?! Act like I know her like when we were little?! Act like nothing happened?! I should be sleeping right now, but you forced me to go with you! What should I do? hmm?!"

"Smile. That's all she wanted from you." Petra said and ignored Levi for the entire ride to their apartments.

Y/n and Reiner played a card game while Bertholdt read a book silently. "UNO mother F*cker." Reiner said as he put down a card.

"UNO your ass, my friend." Y/n put down her card, +4 card.

"F*ck you, my friend." Reiner took four cards. "Your turn."

"UNO, boiii." Y/n put down her card.

"Assh*le." Reiner put down a +2 card.

"This will be the end of our friendship." Y/n said as she take two cards from the stack.

"It is." Reiner chuckled.

They continued to play, whispering each other some curse words time to time. Y/n won after 30 minutes of intense game.

"Goodbye, I'm going to sleep." Y/n yawned and fixed the deck of cards. Reiner put on his earbuds and said goodnight to Y/n.

Y/n closes her eyes and put on her sleeping eye mask. She snuggled on the comfy airplane pillow and tried to fall asleep. A minute ago she wants to sleep, now her mind is overthinking about one subject, Levi.

'What can I do?' She thought. 'Maybe if I impress him, he'll give in...Maybe I need to win that medal. Yeah, maybe I need to.' She smiled and slept through the night.

Morning came and It's time for the landing. Y/n woke up first, Bertholdt and Reiner are still sound asleep. She hopped silently to cross Reiner's long legs. She walked to the restroom with her hygiene kit and fixed herself before going back to her seat.

Once Bertholdt and Reiner woke up, they fixed theirselves and got ready once the plane landed. The plane landed and passengers are beginning to get off of the plane. They got out last so their way out was not as crowded.

Y/n's father was waiting at the benches to pick them up. "Hey, Dad." Y/n smiled at her father. F/n stood up from his seat and hugged her only daughter.

"It's been a long week." F/n chuckled.

"You have no idea on what we saw there. I'll talk to you about it later. I miss Japan, we should plan a vacation there." Y/n said, chuckling.

"We can. I can have a day off whenever I want to." F/n said.

"Really?" Her dad nodded.

"Let's get you all home, so you can rest. I know jet lag. It happens a lot in the past." F/n said. They all walked to F/n's car and put all their luggages in the trunk. Bertholdt and Reiner was drop off to their apartments and the L/ns went home to get some rest.

"I found Levi... And he doesn't want me to be near him... I missed him a lot and now he's angry at me. I don't know what to do." Y)n explained as they put away Y/n's things.

"We'll give him some time, maybe he'll go back to the old Levi we know." F/n said, giving Y/n a hopeful smile.

"Thanks, dad. I should get some rest, you should too." Y/n smiled and laid down on her bed.

"Okay. Sleep well, my little angel." He smiled as he switch off the light and close the door.

"Bye, dad. See you later." Them she slept again.

"You should have died with your mother! You don't know the feeling when the only person left and forgot you!! Leave me alone!!"

"I understand the hurt that you felt! I can feel it everyday! Even today!! Please don't shut me out again!! I want to fix this! Please..."

"I don't need you!! Get away from me, you brat!!"

She took a sharp intake of air and sat up from her bed, sweat dripping from her body. She wiped the sweat on her forehead and walked to the bathroom connected to her room. She washed her face and looked at herself in the mirror. "What have you done, Levi? You're making me weak. Again..."
