(SKIP 2 DAYS)

"Do you really have to go to Arizona?" I whined to Bella as I watched her pack. She let out an awkward chuckle as she zipped up her small suitcase. "Yeah. It...may be the last time I get to see my mom without wanting to kill her" said Bella and I gave a nod. "Mal, can I ask you something?" Bella said as she looked at me and I nodded.

"Does it get easier? After you lose a parent?" said Bella and I sighed. "To tell you the truth, it doesn't. It never will. You just...become numb to the pain but it'll always be there. You know with me, when I really think about it, it feels like my mom died just yesterday you know. I mean, Emmett still hurts after losing his family and it's been nearly a century since he last saw them. So it doesn't easier, you just deal with it because you have to. If I had given into the pain, I would be dead" I replied and Bella nodded.

"I just, dread the day when my parents go and I won't be able to say goodbye because they'll think I'm dead" replied Bella. "Bells, that's ages away" I replied and she nodded once again. "It's going to be so boring without you here. I'll have no one to talk to" I said as I fell back onto her bed. "You'll have Emmett and Jess?" said Bella, the statement coming out as more of a question.

"Pfft. Jess and I are barely friends. She's been funny with me since I moved here. I don't know why" I replied as I leaned on my elbows. "Angela said it was something to do with Mike being interested in you" Bella replied and I groaned. "I've told him so many times that I'm not. It's funny. Emmett gets extra touchy feely when we're around Mike" I replied and Bella laughed.

She sat beside me on her bed and fiddled with her moon stone ring. "Mal, have you and Emmett...done it yet?" She asked hesitantly as she looked up at me. I nodded in response and her expression changed to slight surprise. "W-When?" said Bella. "The night we got back from Italy. One thing just led to another" I replied nonchalantly.

"Was he your first?..." Bella trailed and I shook my head. "No. Back home in Colorado, I went to this party when I was 14 and just slept with some random guy. All my friends were doing it so I decided to as well but I regret it so much now. I wish I had waited" I replied and Bella nodded. "Have you ever had sex before?" I asked and Bella blushed as she shook her head.

"What about Edward?" I questioned and once again Bella shook her head. "He's very old fashioned like waiting till after marriage type thing" replied Bella and my eyes widened. "Jesus" I replied and she nodded. "What was it like?" Bella asked. "When I lost my virginity? In all honesty I don't even remember most of it. I was quite drunk and so was he and it was just a sloppy mess. It didn't last long. Maybe 2 minutes. But don't just go off my experience. Everyone's experience is different. For some people it's great and for some people it's horrible" I said as I shook my head slightly.

"What was it like with Emmett?" asked Bella and I let out a laugh. "Bells, I love you but I don't really wanna go into details of what sex is like with my boyfriend" I replied and she gave an awkward chuckle. "Sorry" She replied and I shook my head. "It's fine. I'm just messing around with you" I said and she smiled.

"The best advice, you'll know when you're ready. Don't rush into it like I did. You'd want your first time to be special" I replied and she nodded. "I'm ready but Edward isn't. I just don't get why he doesn't want to" Bell replied as she shook her head. "Well, don't forget he's from a different century Bella. Back in his time it was courtship, marriage then making love. In this venture it's like the other way round. You just gotta have patience. If One of you is comfortable but the other isn't, then it doesn't feel right and it won't be special" I explained and Bella nodded.

"Was it special with Emmett?" Bella asked and I nodded. "Yep. Very special" I replied.
