JUGHEAD POV
I carried my suitcase out to the lobby and I sat on the couch. I packed up everything in my room and I was waiting for my Uber to come here. I wasn't gonna see Annie ever again and I wasn't going to see my friends ever again.
"Jughead...you're not allowed in here." Nurse Sierra said to me. She stood far away from me and I sighed.
"I can't stay here anymore. I'm not safe to anyone here. I need Annie to be safe and everyone else. I've decided to go home."
"Jug, did you not get the news? It wasn't a cross-infection. Her heart is just failing. There's no need to go home. The doctors are also saying that she'll wake up in a couple days. You don't have to leave." Nurse Sierra said. I sighed in relief and I felt a tear run down my cheek. She was going to be ok and I can get my treatments here. Nurse Sierra walked away and I just looked up and smiled. I felt happy for the first time in so long.
