Snuggles

Nature called in the middle of the night. Beer will do that.

Morgan is asleep on the edge of the bed, facing and curled around me. Jessica is on the other side, also curled into me. It will be very difficult to not wake them.

On the other side of Jessica is Helen, then Rachel. Despite the fact that the three on my side are an average of six feet tall and none of us small, we are taking up the space of one and a half people at the most. Snuggled like this we fit this one bed easily.

If I could just stay here, wrapped in this touch, I would.

I very carefully unwound my legs first, then went over the top of Morgan, sliding slowly and carefully from under Jessica's relaxed arms and leg.

Morgan woke up of course, but I could not avoid that.

"Oh. Now." She said, sleepily.

I shook my head 'No', held a finger to my lips, and finished my acrobatic self-extraction, padding to the bathroom, and the WC.

En route, I stopped a moment to look at the air mattress. Vera lay on her side, facing the edge, Angel faced the same way and spooned against her, arm draped lightly over Vera's waist. I assume that happened after they went to sleep because they did not issue any love-making noises during the night. I would have heard them doing pretty much anything other than talking, and eventually dozing off.

There is also scent. In this case, lack of it. Happiness, but not lust.

I am not sure how Vera is going to feel about that when she wakes up. Whenever she and I went to a party that was intended to be or in happenstance turned into a group situation, Vera went along with both the male and female aspects of it, but she always told me that the girl/girl interactions were strictly a party thing. As she described earlier, she tended to take men for her needs, with varying success. 

I remember one time after I was with a woman (a mutual party friend), Vera was with her next, and she said before she started 'I am not a lesbian', and then they had sex. I have never been sure WHY Vera felt the need to precede that sex with a declaration like that. Seemed like a downer way to start off. On the other hand, if I was with a man, I might feel the need to make the same declaration just to be clear this is a one-time thing? Oddly, that is one of my clearest memories of that night. It stuck out more than the actual sex.

Whatever that case may be, it seems Angel cuddled up in her sleep to the warm Siren lady next to her, so I hope that is not an issue.

They chose a queen rather than two singles though, so maybe this was the goal? Or was it just a reflection of the crowd on the bed. A 'we can do that too' sort of statement?

No idea.

When I came back out, Morgan waited in the main room of the bathroom, leaning against a counter near a sink, her arms crossed.

"That was not a question, Adrian. That was a request. Or a demand perhaps. However you prefer to think of it. Now." She asserted.

We skipped sex in the shower and then again later in the crowded bed, what with Angel and Vera down there on the floor. That is not going to work for Morgan.

I waved at the shower door. "Side of the monster jacuzzi?" I asked.

"Fine. The 'where' of it does not matter. Only the 'Now'. The stable roof for all I care. Actually, that would be fun. I am happy to see you have accepted your fate so easily. I have years of catching up to do you know." Morgan said, popping away from her lean, and heading to the shower door.

"Then let us get started. I am OK if you never manage to catch up."

"As of this moment, it feels quite unlikely I ever will. Something about being in love has increased my love deficit." Morgan said, pulling the shower door shut behind us. Useless, really. It's a glass wall. Anyone else heeding the call of the wild will see us making love if they look. Slight sound abatement I suppose.

Sometime later, Jessica padded into the shower and said in general: "I knew it! I want some."

She was not specific about that word 'some'.
