Afire is the first of a Three-Part Series. It is a Multiple POV book, so you can expect to meet a lot of characters (I hope that is a good thing!)

Afire is a slow-developing story since I would like my readers to get to know each of the essential characters of the book. The book grows steadily through the characters' views, emotions, and personal stories as they come together to weave the whole picture. So, give it a chance even if you feel things are slow-moving in the beginning – I promise you, it all builds up to a big ending!

The story builds through the following characters:

Aija, Zuri, Ze, Thieron, Nala, Luka, Goldstar, Xan, Prince Irih'va, and Princess Ruyanir.

If you don't read about any of them right at the beginning, fret not, you will in the later chapters!:) My characters belong to diverse backgrounds; 'cause Representation Matters!!

SYNOPSIS:

Follow Aija, Zuri and Ze, as they are plunged into the dark world of aliens who are working to destroy the human race and take over the Earth; as they are faced with difficult decisions regarding love, feelings, abilities, the meaning of friendship, and most importantly – saving the human race.

Seven hundred years have passed since the Wars. The Earth has been half destroyed, and the human organization – the Leadership – has taken complete control of the way the new world works. Humans live in temperature-controlled, air purified Cities, with major decisions of their lives being taken care of by the Leadership.

But, is all as well and peaceful as it seems? Kidnappings and missing people reports continue to haunt the residents, and no one has found who has been doing it all. A new threat to the human race is brewing unknown to many humans.
