(*~*~*Kenjii*~*~*)

Okay, the little kid is the person we have to take care of.  Not what I had in mind but whatever. This means the mission is going to be simple. Which lead to the question, why would anyone want to kill her? She doesn’t even have the age to be picking fights of her own. I mean, she’s little. The most she can do is be there.

Lee Mi’s mom, who, I may add, hit the tart out of our sensei, letting us sit in their living room. Can’t believe she let us in her house. We sat on one side of the room and she sat on the other side. She stared at us and we stared back. It was silent for a while.

Then Lee Mi ran into the living room. She paused the moment she saw us. She glared at us as if we were the enemy.

“Mom, now they’re in the house!” she yelled, as if her mom was in the kitchen and not right in front of her. Without glancing at her daughter, she answered,

“Yes, yes they are sweetheart. They will be spending the night and bring you to your father tomorrow.” Lee Mi continually glared at us. She had so much hate in her eyes.

The sensei sighed. “We have a long day tomorrow” Lee Mi looked directly at him.

“You seem like a pervert. Don’t get any ideas” Lee Mi commented. The sensei laughed. He wasn’t taking this serious, like always. “Lee Mi!” the mother said. She walks up to Akatsuki. “You seem like a depress type of person and I don’t like you” Lee Mi said. He just shrugged. Typical Akatsuki. Then she went to Akinori. “You look as if you were childish.” Akinori grin like an idiot. Next was me.

Say something rude to me, try me! I don’t play with kids, I beat them. She glared at me.

“I can already tell that you’re a witch.” Lee Mi muttered.

“Excuse you, little miss rude pants” I said. Lee Mi slapped me right in my face. The impact was something new. I probably had smoke coming from my ears and a red face because Akinori grab me and force me down.

‘Let go of me you idiot’, I so badly wanted to scream. Teach this kid a lesson or two about disrespecting her elders.

“Lee Mi, go to your room, now!” Her mother screamed. Lee Mi looked at her.

“This is my house. I can do whatever I want.” Lee Mi responded. Akinori tighten his grip on me. He must have felt me loosen up.

“Lee Mi, go!” her mom demanded. Lee Mi went up the stairs then stop.

“If I die, it will be all yours and dads fault… Again” she finished off, went into a room and slammed the door.

The mother’s face softens. She looked stress. Is she usually like this? Annoyed with Akinori’s arm around my waist, I bit him. He moved one arm.

“Ouch!” he whined.

“Don’t ever touch me again” I answered. He moved his other arm. The sensei sighed again.

“I’m truly sorry for her behavior.” The mother said. “She has been so rude and cruel since… Well, this one time, a year old, a group of ninjas were late and some road ninjas came again pretend to be them. By the time I realize, it was too late. She was burn, scratch, and beat up. My poor little girl could have died and it would have been my entire fault. Luckily, those ninja save her before the road ninjas killed her.”

The room got quiet; only our breathing was heard. Then, suddenly, Kaage stood up, walk over and hugged Lee Mi’s mom.

“Well, we are the ninja of the Rose Rays Village and we will protect Lee Mi with our lives” Kaage pronounced.

 “Yeah” Akinori agreed. Akatsuki nodded.

“Me too” I said, didn’t want to be left out. The sensei sighed. “Can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em”

A tear escape from her eyes. “Thank you so much” Lee Mi’s mother stood up.

“Let me made you some tea and please spend the night.” She left the room. The sensei stood up and stretch.

“Okay,” he began. “Kaage, you’re sleeping in Lee Mi’s room. Akinori, Akatsuki and I will take the bedroom closes to the front door. Kenjii, you are sleeping closes to the back door. Understood?”

“No!” I complained. “Why do I get to sleep alone?” I cross my arms. The sensei sighed. “You’re sleeping with the mom. You’re not alone.” He explained.

“Fine.” I agreed but I’m not happy. I really want to share a room with Akatsuki. It seems like every mission we gone through, I’ve never share a room with Akatsuki.

The mom came back into the room. “Dinner will be served at six. I heard your sleeping arrangement and I agree one hundred percent.” She said, handing out the tea. “Now I should show you where to put your stuff.” The mother smiled. Well, at less she seems kind.
