"As I walked down the halls of a school I've attended to for three years, I couldnt help but feel alive-maybe it was the fact it was my last year or maybe it was because this time I had him by my side."

»

"Nash, oh my God. Stop," I giggled as he kissed my neck softly. My back was against my locker while he pinned me to it, people giving us strange looks as he practically sucked my face off. "I hate PDA. You know that!"

He sighed and pulled away, leaning his hand against my locker and looking down at me with a smile begging for one more kiss. I stood on my tiptoes and kissed him quickly. "Yay."

I rolled my eyes. "We should probably get to fifth period." The beginning of the day went by in a fast blur.

Nash pouted. "I already hate high school."

"This is my fourth year of it so..."

"I pray for you." He draped his arm around me as we walked down the halls towards our fifth class.

I couldnt help but notice a huge smile on his face and pride in his eyes when people would turn their heads towards us.

When we were almost to the classroom, Cam stopped us. "Nash, dude, I already know 6 girls that want your number."

Nash smirked at him, a look of something devilish and sarcastic in his eyes. "Tell them to hit me up."

I swatted his chest. "And when they do, I might have to stab a hoe."

Nash kissed the top of my head, laughing. "Kidding. Tell them I'm already taken."

He pulled me tighter to him and bid a farewell to Cam as we continued on our journey. When we reached room 26, the room was buzzing with High School conversations-gossip, sports, hot guys, and sluts. The usual.

Nash and I snuck in, most of the people not even noticing us. I sat in the middle of the room, Nash taking a seat behind me.

"Yay! I'll get to pester you from behind!" Nash clapped his hands.

I turned around towards him. "Stop being annoying!"

He grinned at me like he was a five year old. I saw someone take a seat next to me. When I looked to my left, I saw Astrid. Her hair was in a messy bun and she had on her famous Doc Martens.

She smiled at us. "Hey, guys."

"Hey," I replied.

Nash, being the strange one he is, said, "Greetings, follow peer."

We both rolled our eyes and laughed. When the late bell rang and our teacher, who looked fairly young, stood in the front of the classroom, the talking ceased and students returned to their desks.

"Hello, class. I am Mr. Anderson." He took in his surroundings. "Some of you may know my daughter, Astrid."

Astrid sunk in her seat beside me, letting out a groan. The class snapped their heads in her direction. "Um. Hi," She said softly.

"Anyways, I will be teaching grade 12 writing and literature." He grinned at us. "I would like to warn you all of a huge writing assignment that will be due by the end of the year. You're probably all wondering why I'm telling you this now. The reason is-you will not graduate without one."

"The whole project counts towards your graduating score. It will also count as your senior project for my class." He took a breath. "The project is where you have to write at least a 20 page story of your life. It can be about anything in your life. Whether when you were five years old or what you plan to do when you grow up. I dont care as long as its appropriate and sticks to the rules. I will give out an instruction page and some more information for that later this week."

"Now, I'd like to warn about a few of my rules..."

I began to tune him out when I felt something hit my neck. I waited until I felt it again to turn around. Nash smiled at me, a straw and spit balls in his hand. "What the fuck, Nash?"

"I'm bored."

"You literally have the attention span of a baby lizard. I see why you were home schooled!" I turned back in my seat.

Nash was about to spit another one when Mr. Anderson called his name. Both of our heads snapped up. "Why don't you come tell us about yourself, Mr. Grier. I've heard you're new."

Nash stuttered while he stood. "Um-Yeah. Sure." When he got to the front of the room, he looked confused. "What do I say?"

"Anything, Mr. Grier," The teacher replied, sitting on his desk with his hands in his pockets.

"Um. I'm Nash. I've lived here all my life, I've just been home schooled. Um. I'm seventeen. I like sports and music. Oh! And I have the most beautiful and amazing girlfriend ever!" He smiled at me, my cheeks heating up at his words. Did he really just fucking say that? "Willow."

I face-palmed. "Shit, shit, shit," I mumbled to myself.

When I looked up, everyone's eyes were on me. A few girls rolled their eyes and sighed loudly when they learned Nash was taken. I just shook it off and smiled back at him.

Mr. Anderson clapped a hand on Nash's back. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Grier."

Nash's eyes traveled up the wall behind me before his eyes locked with mine. "It's 12:26," He mouthed to me.

I smiled and closed my eyes.

»

"School food sucks ass," Nash groaned as he sat down beside me. Cam and Astrid where across from us and Cam's jock friends surrounded us.

"Yep!" We all said in unison.

A perky cheerleader sat beside Nash. "So, how are you liking high school?"

He grinned. "It's alright. Glad I get to spend my senior year here with my best friends." Nash smiled at Cam, Astrid, and I.

When she walked off, we continued eating what was edible. "Can't we leave after our next period?"

"Yeah. The next period is study hall so it'll be easy especially since we havent been in school long enough to have things to study," Cam said, shoving a brownie in his mouth.

"True."

When lunch hour was over, all four of us lugged to the library for our last period. When we entered, I noticed Ashley and Gwen sitting at our old table. I waved at them but they rolled their eyes and ignored me. I dropped my hand in confusion but continued walking anyways.

Nash, Astrid, Cam and I were talking about what we were doing after school for almost and hour when they announced over the intercom that schools was over. I grabbed my bag and walked with Nash out to his car.

We both climbed in and he pecked my lips. "Not so bad after all."
