"The time finally came─the time to meet The Griers. And I was nervous as hell."

"Nash," I whined, dragging out the 'a' into the receiver. "What if they don't like me?"

I thumbed through the clothes lined in my closet as Nash exhaled loudly. "Willow, for the thousandth time, they'll love you."

I bit my lip nervously. "Are you sure?"

Nash chuckled on the other end. "Positive."

I sighed happily. "Well, alright then. Bye, Nash." I made a kissing noise into the phone and hung up.

Nash had finally grown the balls to ask me to officially be his girlfriend about a week ago.

We were sitting in my driveway, soft music booming from the speakers of his car. His fingers were intertwined with mine as I whined, not wanting to go inside. I leaned over, resting my head on his chest as I rubbed my free hand up his arm.

He kissed the top of my head. "Willow?"

"Yeah?"

As he spoke his chest vibrated beneath me. "What if I asked you to be my girlfriend?"

My heart skipped a beat before a smile grew onto my face, his words sinking into my brain. "What if I said no?"

He pretended to cry. "My heart would be broken."

I sat up, smiling at him before pressing my lips to his. "Yes, Hamilton, I'll be your bae."

He smirked. "Good."

After a while of sitting in his car, just listening to eachother's heartbeat, I decided I should go inside. I kissed Nash long and softly before pulling away.

"Goodbye, Nash."

He smiled at me as I climbed out. "Goodnight, beautiful."

I smiled to myself as I remembered that night. I shook my head, the smile still plastered to my face. I grabbed a dress I had bought at a boutique in town a while ago and decided it was my best option.

After I curled my hair and did my makeup, I slid into my dress, pleased with the outcome. I didn't look as bad as I thought I would.

I got a text from Nash saying he was here. I slipped on some shoes and kissed Anna and Dad goodbye as I left. I climbed into Nash's car, pecking his lips as I put on my seatbelt. He smiled at me as we drove towards The Grier Residence.

Nash gave my hand a reassuring squeeze as we pulled up to his house. My mouth dropped at the sight before me. The house was big and white with green vines twitsting around the large columns in the front. The mosaic glass door glistened from the setting sun. It was large but had a welcoming feel.
