Ansel's POV
"Are you okay?" I ask Barbara, who's weakly resting next to me.
"I'm thirsty-" She says in her dry lips.
The door crack opens and I could clearly see Darren coming-
with Shai behind.
My eyes wide opened my mouth was about to scream her name-
when she gestured and signed me not to scream or speak.
Barbara and I keep our mouth shut.
"Look who came," Darren says, snaking his arm around her waist.

"Old friend came to visit" He laughs evilly.
How dare he touches her.
And what's on your mind Shai?
"Look at those filthy friend of yours," Darren points at me.
Shai raises a brow to speak,
"Friends? Which friends?"
This is absolutely not Shai. I know she is just acting. I've seen her acting for quite a time before and I know this is not the real her. She's just playing a scene.
"Ansel-" Barbara whispers.
"What is she-"
"Ssh" I tell her.
"Just play along with her scene," I tell Barbara. She was about to ask questions but then she nodded.
"Oh I didn't expect her to come too-" I spat.
"You know- The last time we met we were arguing. We didn't end up well." I lied.
"Darren I don't want to see them" Shai pleaded.
"Let's just go down and watch some movie shall we?" She asks.
Darren leaned in to kiss her cheek, "Anything for my girl."
I swear I'm ripping his bones after this.
Darren went out first so Shai could give me another code again; She took out a bottle of water from her back pocket then slid it down the floor. I grab it with my feet then pulled it closer.
She left a message.
"What does it says?" Barbara asks.
It says,
"I'm coming back in 15. Be ready"
And a big smile formed into my lips.
this chapter is short and not good but I've wrote the next chapters that are better than this!!!
