SHAI's POV
I pop a chocolate to my mouth, and stirred the hot chocolate I'm making when Barbara suddenly came in to the pantry,
"Um-" She says sweetly.
"Is there tea? We're running out of tea in my room."
I grabbed the tea and passed it to her,
"Here you go." I say.
"Thank you," She thanked, then grabbed the hot water ad started making the tea next to me.
I should be nice to her, I thought to myself.
"Hey Barbara," I call.
"Hmm?"
"I am- I am sorry if I was being rude to you yesterday. I was stupid and-"
"That's okay" She smiles.
"I know why were you acting like that."
What?
"Wait, did Theo says anything?" I ask.
She shook her head.
"Shailene, I'm a girl. I notice the dark glare you gave the first time you met me. It clearly is a jealous look."
Holy
"You must have mistaken me as Theo's girlfriend, am I wrong?" She half laughs.
My cheeks went all red.
I cleared my throat.
"That's okay, I understand." She adds.
"Barbara," I call.
"Did you said anything to Theo?" I ask
"No" She says, then made her way outta door.
"But I advice you to tell your feelings towards him quick, because, you know.." She reached the door.
"Oh, and if Theo looks for me, please do tell him that i'm out for a walk. I'll be back at three."
I nodded as she left.
I walked myself towards Ansel's room. Ansel is the only one I'm counting on right now.
And a moment later, Ansel came in.
