I am ready for the worst to come.
The door slowly opens.
"The-"
But Barbara stands in front of me instead.
"Oh, hai Shai" She greets.
Barbara is in her pink pajamas, her right hand is stirring a tea.
"Would you like some tea?" She asked.
I gulped.
"No."
She stirs the tea again,
"This is for Theo," She says.
"Theo doesn't like sugar. He never adds one to his tea." She said, walking towards a desk nearby, then put tea above it.
"Wow," I say lightly, brows raised.
"You seem to know alot about him." I leaned back to the door and crossed my arms.
Barbara smiles and her red lips flashes,
"Of course I do."
And the bathroom door (which his also inside the bedroom) opens-
And Theo,
Theo walked out from the bathroom with one towel wrapped around his waist,
and one towel drying his wet hair.
"Uh-" He breathes awkwardly.
"Theo." I called, loud and sure.
I am ready for this.
"Shai." His brows frown.
I will not turn back.
"I need to talk to you-" I snap, then glanced at Barbara.
"-Alone."
"Uhm, I will just-" Barbara points at the door.
"Yes you better get out, this convo is personal." I snap.
Barbara didnt speak again, she rushed herself out quickly from the room.
And it is just me and Theo right now.
Just us....
Theo put down his one towel and hang it up, "You know-" He spoke.
"You weren't suppose to kick her out from this room." He put his black shirt on.
"Why so?" I ask.
"Because this room is mine-" He steps closer to me,
"- And my room is hers too." His eagle eyes locked with mine.
I lean back against the wall again,
"Is she that important Theo?" I ask him.
Theo turned around,
"Yes."
"She is that important to me."
He looks down.
I put down my arms and walked slowly towards him.
"Wait- What's the personal thing you wanted to talk about?" He asked.
Crap.
"You better quick. I don't have all day." He says harshly.
"I-"
"I-"
I feel like an idiot.
"Well?" He asks.
"I want to know how much do you love her."
No.
No.
No no no no that wasn't the thing I wanted to talk about.
Theo laughs, "What?"
"So you dared to came here, kick Barbara out, just to ask that?"
"Is that wrong?" I ask back.
"So you're serious?" He asked.
"do I look like I'm kidding?" I snap.
"What's the big deal of answering how much do you love her it is just that simple-"
"I." Theo cut me off.
"I love her more than anything else in this world."
Strike.
The world feels like it stopped right after he said that.
The pain striked into the deepest layer of my heart.
"Are you happy now?" Theo asks.
"Now you may leave." He continues.
My eyes are still not moving.
"Well then," I tell him. I make my way towards the door,
"I wish you two a happy ending. I hope you are happy with your angel girlfriend."
Theo nods,
"Wait what?" He suddenly said.
I was just about to leave the room but then I turn around.
"What what?" I ask back.
"Repeat your last words." He demanded.
"What?"
"Repeat!!" He demanded.
"I- I hope you are happy with your angel girlfriend." I say.
Theodore James bursted into a hilarious laugh right after.
"Girlfriend?" He started tearing.
"Who said she is my girlfriend?"
