THEO's POV
My chest is going up and down,
My heart is beating uncontrollably,
The world feels like its spinning around,
Just to wait for her answer.
I see Shai in front of me, her eyes can't be predicted. I do not know what she's thinking about for right now.
I squeezed her hand softly and pulled her closer,
"Shai," I say.
I am ready for this
"I'm in love with you."
Shailene froze. Her body froze like an ice.
"Theo" She finally said something.
I close my eyes and hoping to get the answer.
As I shut my eyes I felt a hand to my cheek, rubbing it softly.
Shai's hands.
Then she put her hand down.
I open my eyes and see her looking at the ground.
"Theo," She calls.
I am ready for her answer,
I must be.
