Matchmaking Disaster (7)
Zac's P.O.V.
I ploped down on my bed and I stared at the ceiling. I couldn't take Sapphire's face in my head. She's driving me insane everyday whenever I see her. After what happened to the restaurant where we first met, I thought that I wasn't able to see her again. But when I saw her at the school, I'm so happy. I never thought that we were attending the same school.
When I said to her that I loved her, her facial expression was priceless. Her eyes sparkled even if it snapped wide open. I thought of kissing her before I left her all alone but then I remembered that she's Harry's girlfriend.
Harry and I were not really the best buddies. We're just simple friends. Well for me, we're more like just acquaintances. We didn't usually talk about personal matters and that includes about Sapphire. But I've heard that he's a player, and just the thought of it, I can't help but feel sympathy to Sapphire. She's a great girl but she's dating a player that could dump her whenever, wherever.
I had to admit that I was player. But that was before when I met Sapphire.
I looked at the clock to see that it was just seven o'clock. Then a thought just hit me!
I stood up, grabbed my car keys and drove my way to the flower shop. Roses were the best flowers, since most of the girls loved it. "Do you think she'll like it?" I asked the florist, worried that Sapphire wouldn't like it at all.
"Well Sir. Roses were loved by most of the girls. But if you know her what's her favorite, you should pick that." the florist said as if reading my thoughts. He smiled, "And Sir, in case you don't know her favorite, roses are the best pick."
I guess the florist was right. I didn't know her favorite, so roses will do just fine.
I drove to another store and bought a teddy bear and chocolates. I hoped she loved these things. I just wanted to apologize to her for everything that I did. I didn't want her end up hating me so I have to do this right now.
As I made my way back to my apartment, I saw another car parked across the street. When I went out, It was Harry walking towards my way.
"Hey buddy." He nodded. "Where have you been?" he now asked. I tried to hide the flowers and everything but he saw it already. "Ooohh!" he said, his lips forming in an 'o'.
"It's not what you think."
"Okay, whatever you say man. Ahmm... I just want to ask you about something." he gave me a side hug. "It's about Sapphire." What about her? I hoped she's not in trouble or anything.
"What about her?" I voiced my thought. I'm worried about her.
"It's our anniversary today. Second anniversary. Could you help me with something." he asked, leaning on the hood of my car. It's their anniversary today?! And not to mention, second anniversary!
"What is it?" I now asked, curious about what he wanted.
He grinned, elbowing me a little to the side. Why didn't he just spit it out, darn it! He's taking so long.
