I think it's pretty clear by know that I don't like Archie and this chapter really reflects that so warning for Archie bashing and not even low key bashing like straight bashing hard core
Jugheads P.O.V

"SURPRISE!" Everyone shouted oh no anything but this. Everyone stared at me waiting for my response
"What do you think?" Archie asked
"Umm" I hate it and it's a nightmare coming to life, nothing could make this night worse and I want three of you to leave and (Y/N) to be the only one here right now. I was going to say something but the doorbell rang, great who else did they invite to this thing?

Archie went to go open the door and I herd
"Hey Archie we late for the party?" No anyone but Cheryl ok correction now nothing could make this night worse
"No not at all" Archie said confused
"Great man" oh great it's Reggie then a bunch of people started to come in. I started to walk away then I herd
"Hey Jughead is it? Happy birthday" really universe? Is me saying this night couldn't get any worse a challenge to you?" I turned around and Jake was standing in front of me smiling
"Hey sorry about everything I did really I screwed up and I hope we can start again fresh" he held out his hand
"It's not me you need to apologize too" I responded before walking away.

One thing I asked one thing: don't plan anything for my birthday and then they go and do that exact thing. I walked towards the kitchen and there was (Y/N)
"Did you know about this?" I asked she sighed
"I did but.."
"You should know more then anyone" I said angry
"I wanted to do something nice for you it was their idea to have it on your birthday"
"Why didn't you stand up to them? You have no problem doing it to Reggie Chuck or Jake."

"Why are you getting so mad at me? Is it a crime that I wanted to do something nice for my boyfriend?" She asked with equal anger
"See that's it that's the problem"
"What problem?" She asked confused
"That your a great girlfriend and sooner or later your gonna wake up one day and realize what everyone else thinks that I am just the loner from the wrong side of the tracks and you'll find someone that treats you better, like Archie or even Jake will all of a sudden turn into a decent human and you'll rekindle those good memories and your feelings for him again."
"No Jughead I told you before..."
"Yes that was before what about a year from now?"
"If you think that about me then you don't know me at all" she ran out of the kitchen. Smooth Jughead you really nailed that one.

(Y/N) P.O.V
I ran out of the kitchen trying to hold back tears. Why would Jughead say that? He should know how I feel about him how I always felt about him, I felt a hand on my shoulder I turned around and there was Jake
"Hey (Y/N) are you all right?" No I'm not all right dipshit I couldn't help but take my anger out on him I didn't care at the moment that I was making a scene.
"OH OF COURSE YOUR HERE! PERFECT TIMING AS USAL!" I shouted the music stopped and everyone turned to me
"(Y/N) I..."
"JUST LEAVE ME ALOME WHY CANT YOU DO THAT?!" With that I ran out of the house
"(Y/N)!" Archie was the first one to run after me
"(Y/N)!" He shouted once again when I reached the sidewalk I turned around and Archie was on the front steps

"I told you guys not to plan a party. That Jughead wouldn't like it and what do you do? You invite the whole damn town! What the hell were you thinking Archie?! I can answer that for you: you were only thinking of yourself! That's all you do and all you ever do. Your biggest concern is deciding between football and singing newsflash idiot like I said whole watching high school musical 3 you can do both! It's called going to school for music while joining the schools football team! And oh don't even get me started on your relationship! You have two wonderful girls fighting for your attention but you have your head so far up your ass that you can't pick one! Guess who they come crying to? Me Archie"
"I'm selfish really?" Archie asked walking down the steps "who was the one that had Jughead on a hook for their whole life then left and immediately got a boyfriend thus crushing Jugheads heart, he acts like he's fine with your past but he's not. No wonder he got upset with you tonight." I scoffed
"If you know your best friend then why the hell did you plan this thing, and I saw Reggie bring in a kegger classy Archie we both know his dad is a alcoholic." I turned and and started walking home
"So your just gonna walk away then?"
"Yep because I don't want to be around you right now"
"Fine I don't want to see you either"
"FINE!" I shouted walking down the street

Jugheads P.O.V
but you have your head so far up your ass that you can't pick one! I herd I looked out the nerest window and saw Archie and (Y/N) fighting it seems. (Y/N) walked away while Archie slammed the door. The room was silent for the second time that night
"Ok party's over clearly everyone out" everyone left and when the house cleared out it was just me Archie and the girls I sighed
"I didn't want this" I said
"Why Jughead?" Veronica asked I sat down at the table
"When I was a kid my parents were fighting, that's all they ever did then on this godforsaken day they stopped. They tried to make everything seem fine for me but it actually made it worse like they pretended everything was fine but it really wasn't."

I looked down at the table
"Sorry Jughead" Betty said
"That's why I don't celebrate" I said
"We should have listened to (Y/N) she told us she didn't think it was as good idea" Veronica said
"Why didn't you guys listen to her" I asked all three looked at each other
"Because you guys were only thinking of yourselfs" I stood up from the table
"Look I know your all going though hard stuff I get that but all I ask from you guys especially Archie is this one thing, this one thing and you do it anyway"
"We didn't know it was going to get that big it was inner circle only" Betty defended
"So who invited half the school?" It was silent I scoffed
"Figures" I walked out the door and Archie followed behind me
"Are you really upset about some party?" He asked I turned around and walked up to him
"No it's what the party represents, trust and respect towards me. Tonight shows how little you had" and I walked away before he could say anything else.

I walked home and sighed then opened and slammed the door
"Hey! What did that door do to you?"  Dad said from the couch
"Sorry Dad" I said while shrugging off my jacket
"What happened?" He asked seeing the anger and sadness on my face
"Everything that could have happened, got in a fight with (Y/N), got in another fight with Archie."
"What was it about"
"Everyone planned this stupid party for me that I clearly didn't ask for"

"of course they did their your friends, (Y/N) even called asking if I wanted to stop by, I turned her down saying I didn't think you guys would want a adult there."
"She called you?"
"Yeah she did, she really cares about you Jug I don't know what the argument was about but that girl would do anything for you."
"I know that and that's what scares me, I'm just used to pushing people away, it's easier that way" I said
"For who?" Dad asked
"I don't know" I said in a small voice

"Look Jughead I'm not the perfect father hell I'm not even a good one but I will give you this one piece of advice: don't push people away it's a lonely way to live. Let people in once in a while, especially the ones you love" (Y/N) immediately came to mind
"And I don't know what to tell you about Archie he's a good kid Fred raised him right but I don't think he knows that his son walks around ow he his head in the clouds." I smirked

"You have no idea, but he has been there for me and I did say some pretty shitty things to him"
"Apologize to him tomorrow let him cool down for now, the great thing about best friends is that they forgive you when you screw up."
"What about (Y/N) I really screwed up with her" I said who would thought the day would come when I came to my dad for advice especially girl advice
"Girls are a little bit tricker depending how bad you screwed up you can't just shake hands and chalk it up to a bad day you have to really show her what a idiot you were." I smiled
"And how would I do that?"
"I don't know some romantic stuff that you do with her, give her flowers or chocolates take her to her favourite place do something" I nodded

"I know what to do thanks dad" I smiled and walked towards my room. I sat on my laptop and started typing stuff out. If I really was gonna make this up to (Y/N) I would have to do it seriously even if a simple apology was all it took I really screwed up tonight. I also need to talk to Archie but that will be easier them what I have planned for (Y/N) I'll also need his help to if he'll accept my apology, probably even the girls too for acting like a jerk when they were just trying to do a nice thing. I got a lot of apologies to make, tomorrow is going to be a long day.
