Chapter 30

Archie's P.O.V
It's the middle of the day on Halloween and I haven't seen Jughead or (Y/N) I'm starting to get worried. Did they do something to Jake and get expelled? I walked up to Betty and Veronica who were talking at Betty's locker to see if they herd anything
"Guys I haven't heard anything from Jughead or (Y/N) have you?"
"No sorry Archie" Betty said Veronica was about to say something then my phone rang. Hopefully that's one of them

"Hello?"
"Hello Archie" said a deep and threading voice
"Who is this?" I asked
"Non of your concern"
"Ok I'm hanging up now"
"IF YOU HANG UP YOUR FRIENDS WILL DIE" The girls must have overheard and got closer to me wanting to hear the conversation
"What have you done with Jughead and (Y/N)?"
"Nothing yet and it will remain that way as long as your follow these instructions: come to the Thornhill mansion tonight alone" the voice hung up leaving me confused

"Who was that?" Veronica asked
"I have no idea"
"It was probably just a prank Archie leave it" Betty said
"But what if it's not, either way what do I have to loose"
"Well your obviously not going alone not in that creepy mansion" Veronica said Betty nodded in agreement
"Thanks guys but we are gonna need more backup. "
Later at practice I asked some of the guys if they could come with me said I got a prank call going to Thronhill mansion tonight some seemed excited to go to the closest that our town has too a haunted house, we all agreed to meet at Thornhill tonight at 8.

Thornhill 8pm

Me, Betty, Veronica, Chuck, Reggie, Jake and a few other football players who could make it where standing outside the mansion.
"Is anyone even home?" Betty asked
"I herd the Mr and Mrs Blossom are out of town and Cheryl is probably out for the night."  I said then walked up to the door, I checked to see if the door was unlocked and to my surprise it was, I opened the door and peaked inside.

"Hello? Anyone here?" I stepped inside and turned on the lights
"Oh my god!"
"What's wrong?" Jake asked running up to the front door with the other behind him "oh my god!" He said once he saw the inside of the mansion, what used to be presumably clean was destroyed the curtains were torn, windows smashed with glass all over the floor, speaking of the floor that was ruined as well it was all scratched up.
"What happened?"Reggie asked
"I don't know but I'm thinking that prank call wasn't a prank" Chuck said walking inside we joined him and took out our phones to use them as flashlights and started walking down the hall. Once we got to the main staircase we herd a voice

"Hello Archie so glad you could make it I thought I told you to come alone"
"Does it matter? I'm here give me back my friends"
"You broke the rules Archie, now one of  your friends has to pay for price, the question is... which one?"
"Spilt up!" I shouted and we all ran in separate directions I headed for the top of the stairs and looked in every room that crossed my path as I ran down the hallway.
"Jughead! (Y/N)!" I shouted but got no answer

Jakes P.O.V
(Y/N)?, (Y/N)?, Y/N)! I shouted running down a hallway, I got no answer then I heard a strange noise. I looked behind me where the noise was coming from and it was a snake at the start of the hallway.
"Hey snake how's it going?" I said nervously it started coming closer I gulped as it was getting closer looking for a place to hide. I saw a door near end of the hall, I ran the fastest I've ever ran towards it with the snake moving faster towards me getting closer. I opened the door and ran through it then closed it just in time. Safe, I looked around and realized I was outside by the pool.

I walked over where the pool is and looked down at water for a moment before hearing footsteps.
"Hello Jake" I looked up and it was (Y/N) dressed in all black
"(Y/N)? What are you doing here? We've been looking all over for you?"
"Oh please like you actually care" she said
"So... your not in trouble?"
"No you dumbass this is all a joke me and Jughead planned to prank our friends "
"And why am I a part of it?" I asked
"Because I needed my revenge" she said then started walking towards the door
"(Y/N) don't! There's a snake on the other side of that door!"
"I know" she smiled "now we are going to play a little game, see I'm going to ask you some questions you answer them and if I think your lying I open the door. Simple enough?" I nodded

"First question: why are you here?"
"Simple: my dad got transferred here for work and we had to move" she nodded satisfied with my answer
"Ok question two: my car, why did you crash it?" I smiled
"Oh that that was just for fun"
"Well your fun cost me money to get your paint job fixed you selfish asshole" she said
"Wait (Y/N) are you still mad at me?"
"NOOOOOO IM SO HAPPY ABOUT MY EX MOVIG TO MY HOMETOWN WHILE I AM IN A BRAND NEW RELATIONSHIP WITH A GREAT GUY, HIM TRASHING MY CAR, AND HUMILIATING ME ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS!" I didn't say anything there was nothing I could say on my behalf I did do all those things
"Worst of all, it's like I don't even know you anymore, your not the same guy I dated"
"(Y/N)...""
"No forget it your a douche now whatever you've changed I'm just here to get my revenge."

"Revenge?"
"Yep" she took out her phone
"Now admit it: you cheated on me"
"What?"
"That snake seems awfully hungry" she said in a sing songy voice then put her hand on the doorknob
"Wait! Ok fine your right I'm sorry! I cheated on you! When it happened rumour spread about it happening the other way around and I just went along with it."
"Who started it?"
Madison I think" I stopped recording
"Of course she did my own ex best friend started a rumour that I cheated on my boyfriend just so she could have you that's perfect"
"Yeah so are we done?" I asked nervously
"Not yet" she walked over to me and pushed me hard making me fall into the water. When I swam up she was standing there
"Now were done" then walked away without even looking back twice.
