Chapter 24

Jugheads P.O.V
I woke up and the first thing I thought of was last night, was it all a dream? I looked around and the more I woke up I realized no it wasn't a dream. This was especially confirmed when I felt something move on me, I glanced down to see (Y/N) lift her head that was on my chest.

"Morning" she said
"Morning" I replied smiling as I did so
"Last night was amazing" she said
"It was" I said then started to caress her face with my hand she hummed in appreciation
"I would invite you downstairs for breakfast but I think my parents would kill me"
"No worries I understand" I responded
"Do we have to move?" I asked I chuckled
"Sadly yes, I'm going to work with Archie today and...."
"What?" She asked

"Oh god Archie he's probably wondering where I am" I sat up
"Or he assumed you stayed with me last night" (Y/N) said while her hand was going up and down my chest.
"I should at least call him"
"Jughead shhh relax friends do this thing called covering for them when their friend never comes back after saying they were gonna go be with their girlfriend"
"I guess" I said then lied back down
"What time do you have to work with Archie?"

"Around 9, what time is it now?" I asked (Y/N) sat up then turned her head to look at her clock
"It's almost 8" she groaned then lied back down
"That's too early" she said I chuckled
"Maybe for you but some of us have to sneak back home and think of a reason why they never came home last night."
"Who's asking? Fred? Tell him I was upset last night and you comforted me and we fell asleep I mean your not exactly lying we technically did do that we just did... other stuff before that"
"And what wonderful stuff it was"I said and kissed her then got off her bed much to her dismay.

After I got dressed I looked at my phone and noticed there were 3 missed calls from Archie and missed texts from him too all wondering where I was. I looked at (Y/N)
"I have to go I'm sorry Archie is wondering where I am"
"I understand text me after you get off work?"
"Definitely" I said I kissed her again before I climbed out of her window and climbed down the ladder.

I hid the ladder in the shed before looking at Archie's last text which read
Call me when you get this
I texted back
Sorry fell asleep at (Y/N)s calling now
I dialled Archie's number and he answered on the second ring
"Jughead where the hell are you?"
"Sorry I fell asleep at (Y/N)'s but I'm heading back right now."
"Ok get here as fast as you can"
"Don't worry I will" I hung up then practically ran to Archie's. I opened the front door and practically ran up the stairs, Fred would already be at the site so I didn't need to worry about him noticing me. I opened the door to Archie's room and starting panting, he got up from his bed.

"Hey why are you panting?"
"You told me to get here as fast as I can so I ran here"
"Ok well we still have time here sit"
"Why?" I asked as I sat on the air mattress he then hit my in the shoulder
"Ow what was that for?"
"For not calling"
"I told you we fell asleep we... we were watching a movie"
"Why did you pause?"
"What?"
"You paused right before you said you were watching a movie"
"What? No you ok Archie?" I asked as I changed my clothes
"So what's those scratches doing on your back?" Archie smirked
"Shut up dude" I said then got on a new shirt and headed out the bedroom

"Jughead we have to talk about this"
"No we don't Archie"
"If you can't talk about it then you shouldn't be having it!" He shouted at the top of the stairs I was at the bottom, I sighed and turned around
"Fine I slept with (Y/N) and it was the best night of my life happy?" I said then Archie smirked and went down the stairs.

"So is this going to be a regular thing now? You sneaking off at night to see your (Y/H/C) haired princess? Archie asked then opened the door
"No" I said then blushed
"Sure and don't worry I'll cover for you when I can"
"Thanks Archie" I said then opened the door we made our way to the site.
"So when is (Y/N) going to see your dad?" Archie asked
"No idea we haven't settled on a day yet probably a weekend though" Archie nodded
"You nervous?"
"Beyond but my dad seems excited"
"He's probably happy you found someone that makes you happy"
"Yeah well technically I met her when I was 5" we both laughed then carried on for a while before we reached the site ready for a long day of hard work.
