Jughead P.O.V
(Y/N) has been acting weird for a few days admittedly, I brought it up to her a couple times she just said she was nervous with the showcase and everything. Once while we were in the Blue and Gold office with Betty even she noticed something was off. 

"Hey (Y/N) can I ask you something" I asked she sat up, previously lying on my bed
"Sure what is it?"
"You seem a bit off lately, even Betty noticed today"
"I told you Jughead it's just the showcase it's making me nervous and our midterms are coming too, we both know how I am around exams" I nodded remembering (Y/N)'a dread of taking any exam and how nervous she would be right up until they were over, even taking them she would bounce her leg up and down. I nodded
"All right and I'll help you study for your exams I just know your gonna do great on English right off the bat" (Y/N) smiled
"Thanks Jughead" she leaned in for a kiss which I happily accepted and kissed her back

A few days later was my least favourite day of the year: my birthday. I just couldn't wait for school to be over then me and Archie can go to the Bijio like we do every year. At the end of the day (Y/N) was at my locker waiting for me already ready to leave
"Hey" she said with a smile
"Don't please (Y/N)" I said with a pleading look
"Ok" she said in a small voice I sighed and opened my locker
"Look I'm sorry all right you know how much I hate this day"
"I know" (Y/N) said still quietly
"(Y/N) is something going on?" I asked suddenly getting a uneasy feeling, (Y/N) never meets me at my locker at the end of the day it's more convenient for me to go to hers since it's closer to the doors.

"What no now come on" (Y/N) said closing my locker, taking my hand and taking me outside of the school and all the way to Pops, there we shared a milkshake and I had a burger and fries. I forgot all about the feeling I was having until we headed to Archie's, he had texted me asking if me and (Y/N) wanted to hang out I said sure thinking nothing of it. We walked to Archie's together holding hands and I knocked on the door. I herd a voice saying "come in" it brought back that uneasy feeling. When I opened the door there was Archie, Veronica, Betty and Kevin yelling surprise with decorations and streamers everywhere. Oh no
