Look Who's Back In Town

Chapter 21

(Y/N) P.O.V
I was sitting at a both at Pops with Jug, Archie, Veronica and Betty. I was just in the middle of explaining what happened to me last year
"So you just keyed his car right then and there? Veronica asked clearly into the story
"I didn't even know I did it until it was over"
"Damn girl Jughead don't cheat on her you'll suffer the consequences." Veronica said looking at Jughead
"I would never" Jughead said while looking at me I smiled then he smiled back

"So why did you come back this summer (Y/N)? Why didn't you tell us?" Betty asked I looked over at Jughead for conformation and he nodded

"It was late at night I got a call from Jughead he was upset about something, he told me we wouldn't be going on the road trip anymore, saying Archie left him and stopped talking to him. We talked all night about that I tried to calm him down and make him feel better as best I could.

A couple weeks later I got another call this was late morning, it was Jughead again just as upset, that was the day his mom left. I packed up my stuff and made a weekend trip out to riverdale the only people that knew I was in town was Jughead and my parents. We spent the whole weekend down the Sweetwater river hanging out talking, laughing, it was great then not to long after I heard the news about Jason. I was shocked to say the least"

"Why didn't you tell anyone?" Betty asked
"Because it would look suspicious me and Jughead were already the two loner weirdos what would people think if they heard we were down by where Jason was killed days before his death." I sipped my milkshake clearly done with the topic

"Ok enough gruesome Jason talk I wanna know how did you guys meet?" Veronica asked we both looked at each other and smiled

"It was the first day of kindergarten, we were all playing at recess and Jughead was all alone on the swing set so 5 year old me decided to go up to him and ask why he was sitting by himself. He told me none of the other kids wanted to play with him, they thought he was weird but I told him I didn't think he was weird he smiled and I joined him. Eventually he met Archie and Betty but those swings set were always out spot to hang out, no one bothers us while we were on them" I said
"Ok swoon why haven't you guys been dating for years?" I looked over at Jughead and smiled
"Because this one over here is too chicken to make a move" Jughead chucked and said
"Oh really? Need I remind you that I have herd you tell me that girls should be able to ask guys out too that it shouldn't always be the guys job that it's the twenty first century. "

"Oh whatever" I said lightly slapping my hand against his chest he then kissed the top of my head our friends smiled all seemed perfect then the door to Pops opened

"Oh my god" I said as the person walked in they looked right at me and smiled
"Hey (Y/N/N) miss me?"
