Chapter 8: Teddy Bear or Frog?

My right hand is searching for my necklace. I touched my neck. Oh yes, my necklace is missing. I look at him. But how did he know?

"Thank you so much," I take the necklace from him. He smiles a little bit, "Okay, just be careful next time, ok?" He is about to leave.

"Hey, wait," I called him. He stopped moving, and he turns back to me. I take a breath, before speaking to him, "How did you find this?"

He didn't answer me directly, he just look down, moving his hands nervously. It seems like he is trying to find the way to explain to me.

"Uh..." he said, "I saw you walking to the dorm, and then something shiny fell from your neck. So, after you got in to the dorm, I came closer and took this."

Oh... So, he was there? He was really paying attention?

"Oh, I see," I cannot say anything. Mark nodded for no reason, and then he is about to wear his sick-mask again. Oh, the vitamins!

"You're having a cold?" I asked without realizing. 

"Yeah, I am not feeling well. This is contagious, do not come near me," He said. I am not sure if he's joking or nor, but we both laughed hearing it.

"I have something for you, wait here, okay?" I tell him. Without waiting for him to say something, I run to my room, taking the two bags I bought. I look at them for a while. Which one is for Mark? Bear or frog? Which one he likes the most? Ah, I'll just let him choose it by himself.

I walk out again, still having him there, waiting for me.

"Surprise!" I showed him those bags. He looks surprised, but then he smiles, "What is it?"

"It is a vitamin and... uh, no, it is my special healthy bag," I said, "There are vitamin C, food supplement and vitamin water inside. Make sure you drink it, and get well soon,"

Mark stares at me, he looks surprised. I blushed straight away. Hell, why is he staring at me like that?

"You prepared this? For me?" he looks at me with eyes wide open.

I am surprised too. Why did I prepare this for him?

"Yeah, the other one is for Youngjae though," I added. He nodds quickly, "So, which one is for me?"

I see him smiling while looking at both bags. I know, teddy bear and frog shaped bags are really stupid for boys like him.

"I cannot decide which one for you and which one for Youngjae," I said while holding my smile, "So, I will let you choose for yourself,"

He looked at me, "No, I want you to choose for me. Which one?"

"Huh?" I am confused, "Which one do you like better? Teddy bear or frog?"

He curled his lips, "Which one do you think potrays me better?"

I cannot hold my laugh anymore. He is asking me which one potrays him better? It is between a teddy bear and a frog?!

"Well," I smile, "Teddy bear is warm hearted, nice to cuddle with. Hmm, frog is really cute, jumps around really well."

I can see him smiling as I speak. It is totally the first time I see him smiling like that.

"They both potrayed you really well. It seems like you're warm hearted, but since you are good at martial arts, frog suits you too," I said honestly. He bits his below lips, "So?"

"I'll go for frog," I said. His face changed, it seems like he is disappointed. But it makes him even look cuter.

"I was hoping that you might choose teddy bear for me," he said, taking the frog bag from my hand, "I am warm hearted, you know?"
