The ages of the characters (Luke, Calum, Mikey, and Ash and any other people that come in ;).) are not what they are in real life. And a lot of you are asking and sorry for my stupidity for not putting it in. Cassidy is 16 rn.

She'll most likely age soon in the novel but yeh she's 16 right now.

I couldn't see anything.

It was dark.

Pitch black dark.

I could hear a faint beeping, it sounded like it was pretty close to me.

Was I dead?

Had I died and this was the afterlife of it all?

Was there even an 'after life' to living?

Was this death?

Nothing, just boring pitch black and beeping noises surrounding you?

If I really was dead...would she be gone?

Had I finally escaped the tole of living.

The affects of breathing, the pain that came along with being a part of earth, of having a heart and being...alive; had I escaped it all?

It was eerily quite, well except that annoying faint beeping sound that continued ringing through my ears.

I couldn't move, I couldn't speak, and I couldn't determine wether I was alive or dead.

A feeling rose on my arm, and I desperately tried wiggling to get it off, but I wasn't moving.

A sharp pain pierced into my arm, making me cry out in pain...well silently, my mouth didn't even move.

What was that?

Was I alive?

I had to be, you couldn't feel pain with death.

That's always why I wanted death, why I needed death.

But if I really was dead...was death really that wonderful?

If death was anything like this, I would well....I couldn't really kill my self...because well I would already be dead... but I'd... I don't really know what I would do...

Well I would regret it that's for sure.

This was boring.....reeeally boring.

I don't know what to do.

Not being able to move really takes the fun out of everything.

A tingling sensation erupted in my arm.

What the hell?

The darkness started to fade and my thoughts slipped away, as I fell into a deeper sleep, slipping away from whatever state I was in.

I gained half of my consciousness back, being able to think, but not being able to move, my senses some what increased.

I could hear the beeping louder, and almost as if there were voices..real voices.

I focused, my thoughts becoming silent as I tried hard to hear everything around me.

"We just gave her some----it makes her----she should be------" an unfamiliar voice said, parts of the sentence I couldn't hear, just silence, probably the effect of what ever had been given to me.

I was either alive, or having a death dream sort of thing.

I'm predicting I'm alive...

"So we can----she'll be------?" I think Calum no Michael...no it was Calum it had to be Calum.

"Yes, we predict she'll be ------and up and -----by-----" I was becoming very frustrated, of course all the important parts were being left out.

What were they talking about?

How hard did I hit my head?

Right I hit my head!

That's probably why everything is so distant and messed up, god damn head.

A face flashed before my eyes, making me scream internally, I could feel myself trembling, and an erratic beeping noise started going off.

My mind kept replaying the expression she held on her face, torturing me to no end as I tried to make it stop.

I begged for it to stop, pleaded for whom ever might be watching over me to help me.

And I think they finally got the message... when I went out cold.
